Pocket Organizer Review/Wear and Tear/Which is better? Epi VS Macassar

I had my first fully monogram and always kept in my back pocket all the time, as you mentioned the canvas actually cracked after around 6 months of everyday use. Luckily I went to the LV store where I got the wallet, met a super nice SA, got told they wouldnt be able to fix it BUT she offered me a brand new one for FREE! Then she pointed out from the wear and tear that I sat on it a lot and told me to get the leather one. I ended up getting the Epic Noir (black) one which is similar to your husband (only a bit extra to match the price). Since then I only put in front pocket and it is just as great as yours :)

Hey how are you able to get an offer to replace yours for free? Really interested to know because nobody actually offered to replace mine due to wear and tear and they just told me to get a new one :(

@@votexmama I think after 6 months of use, he still had a guarantee. Here in Europe, you have a two-year legal guarantee. If something breaks in the 2 years, the manufacturer has to repair the goods.

I have the same one as you actually and I love it!! It has been 1 year and mine still looks brand new! I went to saks today and bought another compact wallet it’s the taurillon leather monogram pattern for $610

I gave my husband one of these for Christmas. I gave him a Cobali Damier that matches his briefcase and his Keepall. He is really like his so far and he thinks the comments are fun. The leather interior on that line is buttery soft smooth leather too

It's holding up very well. I had his initials added a couple months ago. He really likes it. I just bought a DA set. It is nice and compact. The card slots are nice and tight too

Great video!!!! Husbands are tough on wallets!!!! If Apple made a wallet.....my husband would probably spend more money on a wallet 😂😂😂😂 He leaves Louis up to me thankfully and I can remind him that his iMac cost 5000.00👍🏻

Thanks for the video. My son has this in the DG print and he stands it up on the entry table, I should tell him to stop so it doesn't mess up the glazing. Also, my hubby says his wallet hurts his ass too, when driving. Lol

Thanks for great review! I’m lost in between epi and monogram eclipse wallet. I’m trying to buy monogram eclipse due to its resistent to scratch than epi. I’d like to ask any issues about your pocket organiser whether it has any canvas crack or peeling edge issue. This is the ony issue which makes me hesitant to buy canvas wallet. Have a great day!

Jason Jung the monogram has had zero issues but I don’t sit on it. My husbands is the epi and his has cracked and peeled. Personally I don’t recommend the Epi but regardless he still loves his

Matt Hoffman gosh that’s hard. Any canvas would be a hard choice if worn in the back packet. Epi is great and my husband loves it

Hi Tiffany, is your monogram pocket organizer's print quite dark if it is not under light? I just purchased mine from their online store and it appears to be extremely dark unless some light is shined on it.

Hey! Sure :) Mine has held up amazingly!! My husband did get his reglazed however its already messed up again. Seems that they don't hold together well for men who use them on a daily basis. He puts it in his back pocket as most men do and its all cracked and messed up

Typically they do it right there but one time I had my bag stamped in Denver and they had to mail it back to me because they had too many to do.

Cool thanks, how much is the cost to get your initials stamped on? Also is there a limit on the numbers of letters as I’d love to able to get my initials “JAWS”on there

Jaws it depends on the item. Normally 3. Sometimes they do more on luggage tags. Neverfull usually 1-2. And typically wallets etc it’s 2-3. It’s completely free!

fizzyfoster if it isn't too many bills then I fold it and put it in a pocket. If it's too many then I put it in another random pouch I have.

I never understand how people can beat their wallet up so bad (like the epi), does everyone put it in their pocket and sit on it? I've had mine for 2 years and it is literally still brand new.

Mirokism my husband definitely puts it in his pocket and sits on it. I take pretty good care of mine but then again mine only stays in my bag 😀

Yeah.. along with it not lasting as long, sitting on a wallet will mess up your back over time too. I stopped sitting on wallets years ago. Using the Damier Graphite in front pocket - love it.

What would you recommend? The epi leather or canvas? I like the monogram eclipse but just scared the canvas might crack. I like the epi leather look but have heard the leather are know to have the card print embossed/stretch over time.

I wonder if they decided to take out the canvas for the hinge portion so it would stop glazing issues. Im assuming that black part is leather right?

Yeah the black is leather. They still do all canvas lines though. I’m sure they crack if used daily

I bought a simple card holder in monogram canvas and ended up returning it. Way too stiff and not enough pockets. So you don’t recommend Epi leather even if carrying in front pocket? I’m interested in the Neo Porte Cartes in Monogram Macassar Canvas, Damier Graphite Canvas or Epi leather. Leaning towards Epi leather because it is under the radar and more masculine 😉

LVCoffeeLver Many people carry cardholder or wallet in their from pocket. I went to the LV boutique this morning and ended up with this LV Neo Porte Cartes cardholder in Epi leather: us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/products/neo-porte-cartes-epi-008869 Epi leather is very nice with under the radar LV branding stamped on it 👌 It’s perfect for my needs. And it’s only slightly larger than the basic cardholders with 2 slots on each side that I normally use.

Adamas i only put my LV pieces in my front pocket and that is very common amongst men to do so with their designer wallets. They even tell you in the store for care not to sit on their pieces. I wouldn’t be surprised if LV denies to re-glaze her husbands wallet as you can tell that the pocket organizer is in the back pocket daily.
