Hi Andy, thanks for another great video. This is a real beginner question, but would you mount this to your scope, or just use for spotting? Thanks!

LOOKS AN OK BIT OF KIT, THANKS FOR REVIEW,

There is only one thing that lets this unit down and it's the fixed 3 x zoom. Other than this the quality is superb and visibility is excellent. Highly recommend though the fixed zoom is a slight problem. Happy days.

I've seen something like this before but as a spectacle wearer the lack of dioptre adjustment would mean I have to find my glasses to use it satisfactorily, not something I find convenient in the dark. Most other NV gear, Hik, Pard etc, has dioptre adjustment, I realise the price point does limit the features.

This would be a great little unit if it had a rangefinder fitted to it similar to the old boblov one you could get years ago but with todays technology , its something thats sadly missing in the world of night shooting , the vulpes looks good but is big

It would be lovely but he price point would be pushed up, probably something people pay for and I think it will be getting more common over the next couple of years. The Vulpes is really good! I love it!

@@andysrange8789 i think people would happily pay for the rangefinder option in the smaller hand held unit as the only other option at the present time is the likes of the pulsar axion thermal range with the hefty price tag of £2000 ish , so a good NV hand held unit of similar size would sell very well i think , its really something only the likes of the boblov /laserworks unit that has ever filled this gap , but with todays technology i cant understand why no firm has ever brought one out

Is it normal after using this for just a few minutes in darkness that when you bring it away from your eye..that eye is practically blind for a while?..totally black? or do i have a defective unit? I have it on lowest brightness possible and IR. I can see that the NV works fine but after using itthat eye is blind, which is worrying...unless that's normal.
@andysrange87892 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s normal, you are taking your eye away which has adapted to a light source into the pitch black which it is not adapted to leaving you with only your adapted night vision in the one eye

Well I got one using ir setting 7 brightness 7 and can't see a thing out of it went ratting tonight and it was useless

No because i pull the NV 100 off my scope use it as a spotter, pop it back on again, good to go, 2 in 1

What do you think is the best night vision lrf possible..?
@andysrange87892 жыл бұрын
The new Vulpes from Nightfox is the best I’ve used for the money, think it goes for about £400, really good!
