Your video convinced me to get the same S6, and it's really a good configuration; compact warm pocket flashlight with some throw. Now i might try the M1 with the SFT40 3000K too. Perhaps i'll extract a little more thrown of it since the reflector is a little larger than the M2. Thanks!

I loved the SFT40 in the shorty M2, but now I'm into TIRs and if the M2 could be modded with a throwy TIR that would be great!

I like the spot of the W1 best, but don't like the dark ring that showed up where the spot hits the spill. Very eyegrabbing☹️. The SFT40 has a very smooth transition. I'd like to see an S6 with SFT25R in comparison to the W1 (and the SFT40).

Yes, someone just mentioned the same thing, I would've considered sft25r if it was available at the time, esp the 5000k. I might try it in T6 later on when he released the Ti versoin. Thanks for watching!

What is the brand of W1 led? I never heard of it. Have you tried osram culpm1? Which led will throw further?

How do you get the copper to patina like that? It seems to have a coating. How do you get it off?

which tube did you mean? Anyways, even if they're coated, you can remove them either with some solution or sand them lightly (which I did on some of my coated brass/copper).

@@urbandadcarry Sorry, at around 1:45 minutes you show the all copper S2+ that has some patina and lost it's high polish, which looks amazing.

This happens to be a custom tube. but fw3 shorttube would also fit, but not perfectly.
