Yes! We need this to be a series!! Even non teachers can use these tips to organize their homes. I struggle with deep cabinets as well, and the pull out drawers aren’t an option for me. Deep cabinets are the worst and I totally understand that the pull out drawers aren't always an option. In that case, I usually recommend storing items in the back that aren't used very often and placing any items you're going to store in front of those items in bins so they can easily be removed when you need to access the items in the back. Hopefully that makes sense! 🖤

More of these types of videos please! Last June I was inspired by you to reorganize my entire classroom. I used your amazing labels from your TPT store (best purchase EVER) and everything just looks so aesthetically pleasing now. One of my favorite ideas that I got from you was to use photo boxes to organize materials. Now, when I need to grab an activity for the day, it is so easy to find and access. Can you do some home organizing videos too? Your home is so beautifully organized and I would love some tips! Guess what I spent my entire week of from school doing this past week? I also enjoy listening and watching for your ideas. I don't have trouble with organization myself, but I like to be invited into other teacher's classroom to help them get organized. Really liked this! Gave me some things to think about when opening my new classroom up in the next couple months. I get to start over because my old school closed down. My old room has two decent sized closets and my new one has none. There are four low slide cabinets that are VERY shallow. I know you said shallow is good but these are like a foot and a half or less 😅 not sure how best to organize them. I aspire to be a little more organized each year and you’ve definitely helped me a ton! Thanks, Michelle.

Love this! Please keep as a series! My classroom has NO built-in storage and no natural storage. It was designed to be a computer lab long ago, but one long shelf with a bunch of outlets under it, does not a great kindergarten classroom make. I just hope I get a new classroom next year!

I worked for my university’s brand new daycare and the supply closet fills up so fast and easily cluttered with so. many. materials 😵‍💫 games, supplies, folders. Definitely helps to be organized!!

I need help with technology. My school hasn’t upgraded our document cams or projectors. How could I make them wireless? With all these school shootings our doors have to be locked, kids aren’t allowed to open them. I’m stuck to a section due to the problem I have. It interferes with classroom instruction due to the constant interruption of having to open the door. Any suggestions?

There are some elements that can easily be applied to classrooms but there are some other elements that don't work quite as well. Anchor chart storage is a major concern. I have math anchor charts, science anchor charts, and SS anchor charts….help!

Anchor charts can be a pain! You could get a magnetic curtain rod and hang them from the rod so you can flip through them easily and access the ones you need. As I mentioned in the video, you can also roll them and store them upright, but they will be harder to unroll when you want to use them.

As I mentioned in the video, I totally wish I could! I'd be more than willing to visit classrooms and help... but the logistics make it a little more complicated. If there are any local teachers that are within driving distance and have approval for me to be in their classroom and film, please reach out! I'd be down for that any time!
