Und Ihr Falstaff ist eine wunderbare Interpretation! Das Tempo ist oft eine individuelle Sache - ich mache es aus eigener Erfahrung (für manche Soprane ist es gerade recht so - muss aber nicht für jede stimmen, und auch nicht für jeden Maestro natürlich), und beanspruche kein Monopol auf die Wahrheit. I agree this tempo is too slow for performance. But this tempo is perfect for young singers learning to blend vowels (this aria is really perfect for this!), and also to build stamina while maintaining spin and not becoming heavy. Brava!
