So feminine, love it. Try keeping your glue stick in the refrigerator when it's hot and it will help keep it from becoming gooey. I live in Rhode Island and our summers are humid, so I keep mine in the fridge when not using it.

I like to decorate my pages before sewing in the signatures also. I may embellish a few after. I even like to do all the journal cards & tags before. Taking them out before sewing, of course. I love your style. Keep on keeping on

When my ribbon and lace pieces are "crumbly" I have a hair flat iron I picked up at an estate sale for $5.00 and it's great for "ironing" out the wrinkles without having to get out your iron.

I really appreciate your thinking about doing pages and thinking through the process for us! Do you sharpen your scissors yourself with aluminum foil? Then, when do you check the glue on the bottom lace? Sometimes I think I wait too long.

Thank you Carolyn, I clean the scissors with some alcohol to get all the sticky off and then sometimes that is good enough or I will either use foil or sharpen with a knife sharpener. HUgs Gi x

I use either a 120 gsm or 160 gsm for the pages. It depends on the type of journal I am making. HUgs GI x
