My poco f5 just arrived yesterday, tried and tested gaming performance i gotta say it's up there with the 8 gen series, actually better than 8 gen 1 because no thermal issues, and just slightly below 8+gen1 in terms or raw power and consistency for longer session of using the device, which is to be expected given the price, this time I'm also intrigued by the camera quality very good for a Poco phone, decent photos with ample lightings and good ois support, battery seems to be ok and charging speed is fast too

disable the memory extension kills your flash storage and 8/12 gb ram is more than enough.

Given the that POCO F5 has a ton of internal storage, from the time that I've used it to more recent times, I actually have not encountered any lags or slowdowns so I don't see the need of having to disable the memory extension.

Ah well, the thing is, if you're into photography, and you can get the Snapdragon variant of the S21 Ultra, by all means, go for that beast, but if you're stuck with an Exynoss variant, I'd recommend going for the F5, newer specifications, up to date software and substantially more affordable.

POCO X5 Pro headphone jack: ✅ POCO F5 Pro headphone jack: ❌ As for the recommendation, honestly speaking and this is coming from experience, I'd reco the non Pro of the F5 series mainly because the chip in is newer, more power effecient performs like a champ in terms of photography, gaming and overall usage plus the fact that it is cheaper. However if you have the extra cash, and you're gunning for the gaming experience, the F5 Pro is far more better than the X5 Pro mainly because of the flagship chip.

The thing is, everyone will have a "ideal" setting or perspective on how to go about it. The big question is, let's say you have apps, files on your phone, do you for example use up all your storage because if not I don't see why you wouldn't use that feature. Also the whole "unstable and lagging" this only occur if people do not know how to utilize the device properly, I for one have never experienced ang unstable behaviour with apps or lags, so this isn't a known issue. 🙂

id ask myself is the 12 enough? for me yes. so there is no need to use a feature that could possibly add more problems. id say its safe to assume it will not fix or add anything if your ram usage never exceeds 12. probably the opposite

Can you tell me the different of the battery by ratio or time if you use 60hz and 120hz? And it affect on the battery only or an other thing? Thank you👍🏻

I honestly don't "time" it that much or pay attention to the battery life, but I will say this. If I set the device to 60Hz, and use the device moderately, it can last an easy 1 day and a few hours the next day. With 120Hz, a little less than 1 full day. If you factor in games, pretty much the same or the battery life is just longer by 1 hr in contrast to having the 120Hz high refresh rate turned on

Yep that's true, only the pro model comes with wireless charging, although the non pro supports fast charging, faster than the wireless charging for the pro variant so it's not a major downer. 🙂

Yeah no, I play Genshin 24/7 and you just set the graphics to a low one (very evident with the low shadows setting lol) with a 60 FPS, not a good review for its game. BUT I did watch another Poco F5 review, and the graphics settings for Genshin showed was ALL MAX SETTINGS. It did not disappoint, FPS just ranging from 50-60 FPS. Props to POCO.

In case you weren't paying attention, I did explain why I did set it to low 😉. I for one intetionally do that even if I am using a flagship device simply because there are certain graphical setting that doesn't really affect my experience playing the game. It provides less stress to the devicr which of course lessens the impact for the battery too, but if you're the type who likes maxing out stuff, that's you, to each their own basically 🙂.
