Poco was never a camera centric phone but the community support especially on Gcam mods are quite huge. I would take that as a win. A powerful device for years to come, a decent stock camera, and possible huge improvement with gcam mods. For the price, it's a win for me.

💯 agree. Gcam takes the W! As a Poco F5 user, Gcam makes all my photos really good. Even my workmates really appreciate the quality of the photos I took thanks to the Gcam developers. 😁

Nice, I am a big X fan, but last week I sold my Poco F4 cause I needed something with an optical zoom lens (not digital) and since we already have a Galaxy S23 in the family, I got an S23 fe, which has identical cameras to the S23 & has 3X optical zoom. If Xiaomi doesn't want to be left behind in the camera department, they have to dump those old lenses/sensors and start putting optical zoom lenses on their midrangers. Other than that it's a beautiful phone. Thanks for the review Jermaine

@@peruemprende10 s23 fe is worse in terms of battery because of exynos 2200. Even in Angloamerica it isn't that good because of samsung 4 nm node chip with A710 cores. In video recording not only does isp come into play, but also the video encoder, gyro sensor and ois.

I am about to buy a new phone and ordered moto edge 50 pro and due delivery issue it got cancelled and then I changed my mind to buy poco f6 but iam concerned about cameras all the reviewers saying it is very bad but now I understood that it is based on how we use it you changed my perspective about the cameras a bit thanks ❤❤❤

oh the Moto without a doubt will be a better camera! the F6 series is made for performance with a pretty decent camera, but it cannot compete with something like the moto edge 50, the Ultra wide is just not great. BUT a lot comes down to the user as well. But the moto will be better for sure. But the performance on the phone is solid :) So if camera is not the main focus it is a great deal. If camera is the main focus and you can get the edge 50 pro (which here is a good amount more exspensive) then of course I would advice that one.

A better ultra-wide or a telephoto? Why not both? Why not add a proper selfie cam as well? These manufacturers make the phones for $3 - $30 dollars & sell it to us consumers for $300+ or higher & we get fooled everytime. If they really listen to the community? All would be happy, everyone gets what they want and that 3.5mm headphone jack back as well.🙏🤞☝️🥰✌️

honestly if you have the x6 pro you should just keep it realisticly if camera is the focus, the bigger difference is the great CPU

Single core 1730 vs 1457, multi-core 4801 vs 4191, so it isn't going to be a CRAZY jump, and often I think most will be fine with cpu's that are for instance provided in the poco F5 (that is the score for the poco F5 btw the second one) (for the poco X6 pro from what I have read 1239 single core and 4189 multi-core. But yes it is without a doubt an improvement. But it really depends on how you use your phone. In day to day, like tweeting, watching video's and so on, that difference won't be really noticeable honestly.

Is the camera on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ that much better than this Poco F6? cause these two phones are almost the same price, but Poco is so much more powerful with the Snapdragon chip, or is the camera on the Redmi just slightly better?

I would say it is better, not a league of it's own compared to the Poco, but the poco does have indeed the better CPU. So pretty much what you said :) In low light performance on the redmi is also better.

Honestly there it will be pretty damn similar. I am sure it uses the same iffy ultra wide and main sensor is close to the same. I would say if they are both around the same price, then get the F6, better CPU (not a LOT but still better)

Have you found any fault with the Xiaomi phones in terms of video? My (still pretty new) Xiaomi 14 takes video and then when I see it in gallery, post-processing ruins it and brightens everything. A red tomato looks orange and my background is so bright, it's glaring. I like this video's thumbnail and the previous one's too. Best two thumbnails of your videos so far I think.

wait so when you take a video on your 14 it somehow makes it crazy bright after it? not like you are seeing on your display? That is weird! Can you try turning off HDR and see how that effects the shot itself? See if you still have it? Because I never had that experience. The red tomato I could get on my Mi11 Ultra though xD And thank you man! I am trying, it is hard to find a way to make that thumbnail pop ^^

@@ThroughJermainesLens No, it's not HDR problem. I just took a 1-second video to test. In fact, it looks okay in gallery but when I press to play the screen immediately brightens... I think the thumbnail is very important in getting that initial hook for people!

I am confused among xiaomi 13 pro or vivo x90 pro or vivo x100 pro or xiaomi MI 11 ultra or xiaomi 14 ultra. I do a lot of photography. I use the telephoto more often. And a little bit of cinematic videos. Can you help me by suggesting which one is the best for me ?

so Mi11 Ultra while it is still nice, I would not say that would realisticly be the one I would go for as main device, I think it now has recieved the last update possibly. for the X100 Pro I haven't used that, but the X100 Ultra is coming tomorow. the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is probably the best if you want that Photography feel, so some contrast, not afraid of shadows and so on, and of course not too much saturation. Vivo will be very reliable, and great zoom from what I have seen! the X90 I would skip because the x100 pro is close to the same price.

redmi 13 Pro+ I would say, it is the 200MP version I assume you are talking about right? Because I know in some regions it has 5G behind it for the top version of the redmi note 13 series

@@ThroughJermainesLens On the iPhone yes, I'd still have some years of support to come, but I can't stand the slow charging Speed, poor file management and other stuff that any €300 android could do better, for a fraction of the price. I was trying to hold on until It reached its end of life, but I figured selling It now and buying an android would be the better choice. Both the Xiaomi 13 pro and the poco F6 should get security patches up to 2028, so it's actually a good idea to look for a second-hand 13 pro, but they all go for no less that €550, so a bit out of budget for me 😬

The results are not bad as long as the conditions are free from light pollution and require editing with Lightroom. It mainly competes with mid-range phones like Samsung's A55 or the Pixel 7a. While the Poco has more powerful hardware for gaming, the photography experience on both the Samsung and the Pixel phone is significantly better. Thanks for the review :) Any plans for the Xperia 1 VI ? Doesn't seem to be a huge upgrade over the 1V, but the telemacro capabilities, similar to Xiaomi's cameras, are a fine addition

Yeah very true! While they are a bit more exspensive those 2 offerings. (128GB on pixel 7a and slower CPU, but probably "better" camera but lacking the freedom. for the a55 a bit more pricey and I would CPU wise it would lose, camera is hard to say. Updates it probably wins on though! For the Sony, I asked my contact, right now they do not have any units, but when they recieve it they will let me know straight away to test it out ^^

Great video. How would you say the camera compares to Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G? I know megapixels isn't the be all and end all. Thinking of upgrading from Poco M4 Pro 4G so camera is bound to be an improvement. This mainly struggles in strong light, things get washed out.

as in the pro+ (they are confusing with names so many versions hahaha) I would rate that above this one for sure. These F-series are often performance based phones and camera less so :) So I would say the note 13 Pro+ would do better (Ultra wide harder to say) And thank yuo of course :)

Hard for me to give hard answer on this because I haven't used it. I would say it would be an upgrade but nothing world changing, like a crazzzyyyyy update. But still improved for sure. (Ultra wide probably very minimal)

Its definetely an upgrade dude. I didnt upgrade from pocof3 to f4 because they were pretty much the same. But f6 is a different story. check the specs

I'm updating from f3 to f6 right now, mainly because of security updates the f3 performance is still more than enough. So I would actually recommend to wait 1 year and get the f7.
