Pod Hotel Christchurch Airport (LyLo, formerly Jucy Snooze)

I stayed the capsule/pod hotel located outside Christchurch Airport (it's called LyLo, formerly Jucy Snooze). It’s a great place stay if you’re looking for cheap accommodation when you first arrive in Christchurch or on your last night before flying out.
I stayed here after taking the Jetstar flight from the Gold Coast in Australia to Christchurch, as that flight arrives at midnight and I couldn’t pick up my car and caravan from storage until after 8am.
About me:
I'm a Kiwi travelling around New Zealand in my used caravan, making informative videos about the campsites I've visited. The reviews are about DOC campsites, freedom parks, campgrounds and holiday parks.
My vlog is for camping tourists (both international and New Zealanders) who are travelling in caravans, RVs, vans, buses and motorhomes, who want to see the facilities campsites have in advance of staying. I discuss what I liked and disliked about each park, so you know what to expect.

Exactly. I only paid NZ $40 (the winter rate) and I got a comfy bed and each pod has a place to recharge your laptop and phone. There's a burger place about 20 metres walk from here called BurgerFuel Spitfire, and the burger was great. It's less than half what AirBnbs are charging and there was no partying or drugs like at the AirBnbs.

I always wondered what these capsule hotels were like to stay in. I'm claustrophobic and don't want to sleep in a coffin. It doesn't look as bad as I thought they'd be.

It's a standard single bed so it just feels like a single bed with walls and a ceiling on it. It reminds me of childhood when we'd build a fort and sleep in it.
