Podcast #2 Grieving The Death Of A Spouse Part 1

It’s been 3 weeks since my wife went to sleep with the Lord, she had had kidney cancer that spread to her liver and lungs. We were married for 50 years. I cry everyday and night and it’s been unbearable to take. I will join a grieve share meeting and I hope it will help me a bit.

My husband and best friend August died New Years Day of this year. He was of course very ill at the end and I was recovering from my own hospitalization. He loved Christmas and we had many wonderful Christmases together. I believed early on and still believe that the only healthy way through my grief is walking with it, have the tears, hurts and sometimes chaos that occurs with it. I don't apologize for it, I just ask the Lord to come with me. Thank you for the podcasts. I will listen to the ones about getting through the holidays and the toolbox casts as well. Thanks so much.
