I had to giggle at my little ego... It did a little tantrum 🤭 Now to take the villains away! How amazing that God knows when we are ready to accept that I am good, I am innocent, I am beautiful. All is well. ❤❤❤
Wow. I feel like I have no words after hearing this. The comment "Amazing Grace" is right. Thank-you.

This is what I would call the isolation of a truth. I caution that there are two sides to the coin. Carol Howe is right about the side of the coin she's looking at, and telling us to look at. However, I have a more balanced view because I see both sides. Jesus said Love Your Enemies--He didn't say that we merely imagine that we have them. She's a wonderful lady, but looking at that side of the coin is also dangerous. As a professionally trained actor, I can see some errors to ACIM. We surely don't want to make a corrective that causes us to swing to the opposite extreme. I do not think it arrogant, or naive, to have a balanced view; such as "forgiving" those who have wronged me, and praying for them with the knowledge that I, too, have done evil to others, for which I repent of. Also, being aware that my memory of past events are imperfect, so it's possible that my "forgiveness" MAY be magnanimous on my part. God will reveal who is guilty of what--let's not assume that we all have to hug Barney. Must you distrust your memory completely? Do we assume that the child molester is a mere "projection"? And should we say that the molester in question, may also have been molested as a child, before becoming a molester, renders this evil doer as "not guilty"? Can we all be guilty and innocent at the same time? We can trust our memory enough to know that EVIL EXISTS, even if there is individual bias. I feel drawn to ACIM, but I'll have to qualify what is being taught, lest I flush all my life experience down the toilet. In some ways, we NEED our pain. In a Star Trek movie, Captain Kirk faced a false god saying as much. ~Steven of Montreal

Wow... I never quite understood (T-28...I.4:3), "You are so long accustomed to believe that memory holds only what is past, that it is hard for you to realize it is a skill that can remember NOW" until this podcast. Thanks, however for me, the title of this podcast is much more like, "Please take the the villains away!"
