I agree with you coaches can tell, but there are certain players who play better than they practice. I also agree the board messed this up. I did watch Vitor in Brasil and the kid barely connected with his midfield, but if he had a sniff at goal he scored. That is something you can't teach. I was hoping to see him play with our mids, because there were some games this season I was wondering where the goals would come from. This kid might need to go out on loan, but if he has a manager who puts his arm around him and breathes confidence in him, this kid is going to score a ton of goals.

6:21 i 100% agree. We should’ve never spent that crazy amount on an unproven player. There are plenty of young promising players that we could get for cheaper, for example Mikayil Faye and Noah Darvich. Two very young talents that didn’t even cost us 5mil combined. Also there were other promising youngsters out there like Lucas Bergvall, Antonio Nusa and Ivan Fresneda that we could’ve bought all for the price of Vitor Roque combined. We really need to do better business if we want to be a top club again. It’s a huge factor not many people talk about.

I'd lean towards the explanation that Vitor is not ready or doesn't suit the Barca style. He has shown some flashes of brilliance when given the opportunity, only his dribbling attempts and finishing touches have let him down on some occasions. I'm guessing Xavi probably isn't satisfied with his positional play. I would rather the club sold him if he's not suitable for the team's style of play than break him by saying he is not good enough.

I think part of getting better is getting minutes in a game. It would be logical to let Roque start versus some of the weaker teams in La Liga. Plus, there have been situations where Barca was winning easily with 10 minutes left - why not give Roque minutes in these situations?
