Not pre ordering the game will definitely make them sweat engagement is what drives up sales fomo also plays a part as the consumer. I'm a small business owner i didn't sell for 3 days and was worried that my sales would drop but because my product is quality and my customer service is as best as humanly possible i didn't miss a beat this morning my point is all a paying customer wants is quality service for their money.

Really pleased you had this conversation. It's tough with Bateson cos his content is based upon him opening shed loads of packs. I know he has his RTG but no packs would involve him having to completely change his business model.

Yeah and I know RTFM touched on that a little bit. It's not exactly fair to expect ask someone to change their business model as you said, but there needs to be an open discussion and a level of respect to facilitate those discussions. Like in the case of Bateson, I don't care if that's his content and that's what he wants to do. That's fair, that's his decision. The problem is the people attacking him for his decision. I know how much Bateson spends, but let everyone approach it their own way. If these guys, AJ3, Zwe, etc, all decide to go the route of no points, boycott the store, I think that's good. But to attack Bateson because he made the decision that it's not in his best interest as a creator to join them, that's not going to help. I think EA sees the split that's causing, and that's their strength. Not everyone needs to be doing the same thing, but we all need to have the same goal and the same objectives. And attacking each other is only going to harm the cause.

You can't see the chances of packing indivual players which is a must from any reward types. They have it in the back in code so could easily show this in the front end

24:00 that's it. I feel like most audiences understand the issue, but there are so many people who misunderstood it and use it to send abuse to content creators. AJ3, for example, got abused because he didn't speak out the same way others did about FC Points when he said for years to not purchase points. In the other way, people abuse RTFM and marked him as someone who's trying to expand his brand. The real issue is that this franchise (I've only played a week of FC24, since it was free on PS+) has been trash for years and we all hoped that every next year will be different. As 28T said, we need to find a way for EA to listen and answer to us about this bad gameplay. And we only talk about FUT, other creators like CaniSports have been vocal about career mode issues but they don't have the same leverage as FUT creators do. The game itself is so flawed and for some reason it's the most expensive it's been in years.

They are making so much money, and obviously, money is the ONLY thing they care about. You can cause the change, and you don't need other content creators. I agree with Nep's idea about the new channel. Invite guests, invite people that were screwed over by EA, invite Kurt, invite (ex) pack addicts (even if they aren't known to the public). Basically, the goal should be to present all the shit this company does to the public, especially to people who are suffering with pack addiction, so they will ask themselves if it's really worth it to buy FP. You can change it because at the end of the day, EA without customers is nothing.

Sorare is fun, but even then my available funds to any of that is so limited that I genuinely rather just put little money to Sorare than any games except CS.

Yeah even though I’ve probs played this game cycle more than any other FIFA/EAFC. This will be my last. Play it only for the fear of missing out. And when I do play it I’m annoyed at the experience of the game. But met with the same dilemma of going back round in that cycle. Now I log on I look at it and I just don’t even want to go into a game. Always have a look at the packs in the store instead so now I’m just not even going to put myself through it and do more outside of my room and in front of my screen. I’ll enjoy watching creators play the game but it’s more the creator than the game for me

I can hands down tell you i feel better, no daft anxiety because i know i’m about to devote my whole time and energy towards a few champs games. Like yourself i have probably played this game cycle more than any other yet here i am. Ive played competitively since fifa 15 and never got to this point, it’s genuinely no fun anymore, it’s a chore.

I deleted the game in November, havent missed it at all. It prays on your addiction and fear of missing out, its not a game anymore. Since completed Witcher 3 and RDR2 and realised ive been wasting time on FUT for 6 years. My group of 4 who played together for years have all stopped. Hope EA fall off a cliff.

MLB the show is the best at mixing in game purchases and grindable players. You can absolutely spend no money and get a very good team, if you spend money you can get flashyish players but it’s all one currency so you can essentially just buy players. Also if ur really good you can get very very good rewards

I would love to see a direct correlation between the rivals division you are in and the weekend league level you play at with rewards that represent this level. This would really add a new incentivwe in rivals and also make it more competitive and enjoyable for all. Im not brilliant player but i end up against players sooo much better than me and it just isnt enjoyable when you keep getting battered, you loose interest, ultimately i just want a football game i can enjoy, is that too much to expect??

How is champs rewards for better finishes going to work when I am in elite can win 10 games straight and struggle for 11 -14 wins. I am top 40,000 in the world and. Matchmaking for me is matching me with that level of opponent min 950 skill rating in champs is stupid. Like I’m better than 99% of players why is matchmaking here to give me the same rewards as the dude in div 6

Guys, I am not a great FIFA player by no means. Still by end of last FIFA, I had all 99s with still 5M in my account. Then I thought to myself, what is the point? I swear I do same every year. I get the best cards end of the FIFA then I play that 8 months beginning September until April/May. Then I load up my account start again. They consistently give bad cards on purpose to drive people to buy, then two months later their random packs have better players. Constant money make.

not going into the store with points shouldn't even be a months time thing, it should just be a full time thing, even if they make the game better, in game transactions for unknown content with a gamble element should never be promoted. It promotes gambling and addiction, especially in FC which has a younger audience. People seem to be using it now as a way to hurt EA rather than actually acknowledge it should never be justified. Best way to hurt EA and make them take notice, don't pre order the game and send them a message saying not getting the game this year until you fix things.

Defo stop with Eafc points going forward, although i find it galling that some creators who were doing shareplays and NEVER said to their viewers "guys dont waste money on packs, let me open them with my money, please don't gamble yourselves" are now jumping on the bandwagon so that they look as if they are doing something. Im sorry but those that opened store packs that viewers spent money on are as complicit as EA for luring young kids into a form of gambling. On a second note, a creator called Esso made a great point. EA said the initial results were not as 'intended' but all the red picks say is ligue un and d1 Arkema toty picks, nothing about % chance of pulling an Mbappe or Dembele. He also made a great point that EA only released the info about the mess up on X, so millions of players who don't follow EA would not have known this, and yet they didn't put any messages in the game itself, and did not say that one little word SORRY.

Rather than boycotting the game. Everyone should agree only yo use gold teams with no special cards. By doing this; -no one will be spending money on the game -everyone can still play and compete on a level playing field -content creators can still stream and focus on gameplay If you match anyone else’s ho is not running a full gold team -quit the match. Making this simple change will force EA to act.

honestly the only way is to quit. Unfortunately for content creators it's their livelihood. but I so you guys had other ways of income. but for just normal payers. quitting is the only way. cause if you are used to using the the store, EA knows for damn sure its easy to temp players to buy, very easy. If EA continues using the worst engine they ever made (Frostbite/shite) NOTHING is possible to change. They need to rewrite this game and make a new engine, the Ignite Engine was superior first example, and it’s even older than Frostshite, it’s just a TERRIBLE engine for sports games period. So you guys have to understand that without an engine change and new code, Ea’s football games will always be terrible. All you content creators have to really nail that point to EA and that’s the ONLY point you need to make clear to EA because everything other than changing the engine else is a waste of time 100% guaranteed.
