as well as all the fermented things i am doing kiefers and kombutcha and suarkrauts ---organic coriander black seeds /or oil is a tremendous powerhouse to fight inflammation --ALL inflammation -migraines fibromaliasia arthritis colitis ..all of these are helped with black seeds--and eating organic --great video

@@CulturedFoodLife yes ma'am i can not express how much help this has been...-it puts the fire out and fast !!! i will get a flare ...take it and 20 minutes ...RELIEF>>>and i personally make my own gel capsules and use the seeds -(sunfoodsis the brand ) and its really inexpensive... i take 4 a day and it keeps fibro basically gone --when i dont eat clean and begin to flare i take 4 more and it just goes away !!! really really an exiting situation and its just a really helpful and healthy thing to take ...i almost cant find any complaints nor locate interactions and it seems to get even more relief over time as i think its doing healing on the nerve ends...so amazing i cant stop speaking about as fibro is everywhere -even people in thier 20s have it

Heather, do they have to be black coriander seeds? I can't find them, only the neutral color coriander. Thanks so much for the information! Natural remedies are the best way!

I found on the Sunfoods webpage that black seeds are another name for black coriander and they have other names as well. Thank you! I will share with my friends! ;)

I am exceedingly grateful for all you do to share information like this with anyone who will listen, and for your huge heart for helping others. You give me so much hope! I have fibromyalgia, PTSD, and have suffered from insomnia, anxiety, and depression since I was a young girl. I have been told by more than one healthcare provider that I will likely need to be on prescription medications the rest of my years. While I do believe I'm better off when I give in & take them like a good patient, it is a double edged sword. The side effects can seem nearly as intolerable as the conditions these medicines are supposed to be 'treating'. I have always had a desire to become well enough to be weaned off my prescriptions. I have been making all kinds of kefirs, dairy & non-dairy, kombucha, and fermented veggies for about a month now. I wish I could say I was better, but am still struggling. I am excited to read your article about SIBO to see if that is what I'm missing on my quest for wellness. At first, my family was horrified at my 'science projects'. Now, my husband will drink my kombucha & kefirs daily, and has even taken a few bites of my vegetable ferments. He has a lot of digestive issues, so I'm hoping he finds relief. He is more open to my ferments every day that passes, and can't wait until we can afford to order your sourdough starter & water kefir grains. I haven't won over any of our kiddos yet, but my mother in law has said if I make her some sauerkraut, she will eat it! Please know that you are a light for me, and I appreciate you!

Hi Wendy , I hope you find some relief. Healing is truly different for everyone and a lot of factors come in to play. If you're still on a lot of medication or prescriptions it can be hard to get ahead (I'm not a doctor so keep this in mind) you can find the answers for you. Getting good sleep and some exercise and focusing on gratitude can be very helpful to the gut and body as well.! Thanks for commenting!

@@CulturedFoodLifeThank you! I have returned to my daily yoga practice after listening to one of your podcasts about how much it helped you. I have upped my purple sauerkraut intake to twice daily, and have added fresh ginger & turmeric to my daily kefir smoothie with greens & berries. I am seeing improvement, so much that I have begun the process of weaning myself off of my most problematic prescription...I just know I'm going to be able to do this! Oh, and I forgot to mention, that my morning coffee is blended with virgin organic coconut oil & organic butter from grass fed beef - and since nailing all of this down consistently everyday, I have been able to completely stop taking ibuprofen, which used to be a low-dose 24/7 thing for me! I feel like my gut bacteria is finally able to get ahead without it!

Hi Donna just wandered if others find it better to digest chease from kefir with out the whey. I find I am doing much better when I Only eat the kefir after the second filtering I eat the chease part .

Hi Deborah! Kefir is 99% lactose free. Lactose is usually what bothers people. However, kefir is an extremely powerful food. So many experience detox/healing crisis reactions for a while in the beginning (or for longer) when starting kefir( or any new fermented food) It's the most powerful with the whey intact. But kefir cheese is good too!

Donna Schwenk Thank you Donna But for me I am not a beginner.I have been drinking mil kefir for about a year. While needing the probiotics I was still have some problems. Then I found out that for some the whey can be the problem. So buy filtering the second time I have just the curds chease .Which seems better for me. So I am just explaining that for some ,that have had IBS for much longer, this has helped.

@@deborahtofflemire7727 The cheese won't be as powerful vs kefir in it's whole form. You can go through long/multiple detoxes depending on how consistent you are with everything and how much you're consuming. My daughter had ibs and kefir was a huge part of her healing. If kefir cheese is working for you than go for it! Hopefully soon your gut will heal and you can include the whey as well.
