I noticed when he was 9 years old playing Tennessee Whiskey he was going from playing with his fingers to the pick. He is flat out an amazing talent and is getting better by the minute.

Born with music in his soul. That cannot be denied , nor should it be . Thanks Farrant Family for allowing this young man to be able to follow his destiny. Kudos to you all , and may Taj continue to share all he has within himself . 😎👍

Taj, you are one extremely talented young man - I really can't wait for your "Crossroads" album to be released and available here in the UK, perhaps from Amazon. Don't rush the release though - take your time and make the album as perfect as you can. You are a real star and such a lovely young man as well. Don't ever lose that. You have a great future ahead of you. I wish you very, very Good Luck.

Apart from his amazing guitar skills what Taj has that makes him so special is his supreme feel which can't be taught to play and have everyone feel the emotion is the ultimate goal of every great musician, Taj has more musical power than anyone I've ever seen in my 69 years on this planet.

Muscle memory. The way I see it if you want to make a living with music you have to give it the same time and dedication you would give to any full time job if you want to develop and maintain skill. You dont just stumble in to it, you have to work at it. Few will really give it the kind of time it takes to really master the skill. True, there are people who have some natural inclination but dont kid yourself, just about everyone that hits it big in music has put a lot of time in practicing to make good use of whatever natural inclination they may have.

A damn shame that the family allowed him to be picked up , he's now 'handled'. He could have been YUGE! Had he have told hollyweird to POQ, and took control himself. Typical Aussie mentality. Really sad So much talent :/

it's good to see him doing an interview without his dad sitting on his shoulder constantly prompting him for once...i've no idea who the here's the nugget guy is...two riffs work out of 500?... that's some bad musical thinking... needs to work on his american accent...he still sounds australian to my ears... you can tell that he's starting to believe the hype now...like he's already made it into some musical hall of fame... what a saga...time passes and the beat goes on. 🤘👹🎸...
@claremanor-nq9jx9 ай бұрын
Do Americans change their accent to British when they go to England? His dad is always there as long as he's a minor on social media age 14. As far as the music is concerned, you can't deny his titles as a virtuoso and prodigy.
@eodnhoj83879 ай бұрын
@@claremanor-nq9jx don't you think that to be considered a virtuoso you should at least be able to read music?... prodigies are kids under ten years old...the tennessee whiskey he did at nine was somewhat prodigious but all of this apotheosizing of a kid who just plays by ear and can do nothing note for note irks me... his virtuosity has been hothoused with the benefit of homeschooling... if you look really closely it's all smoke and mirrors... american accents are far cooler than australian ones... at fourteen years old if he can't speak for himself yet then his 'education' has been a waste of time.

@@eodnhoj8387 No, let me clarify, a troll is someone who trolls a post spewing lies and hate. I didn't post this video. You're lying on the author of the video who specifically stated that he has seen Taj live playing "note for note" Only a troll would try to mindlessly intimidate a child who speaks in the accent of his native country. I would think even an American troll would know better, given the different accents of the Native born Americans from different regions on the map, not to mention the melting pot of immigrants America has from every part of the globe.
