Love you Kevin and Mike, great podcasts. Will keep listening and hopefully we start addressing the rebuild for next season. Reason being: we need to accept it and move on that we were duped by Liepold about Daniels progressing back then Lance saying after the 2nd win that Daniels shook the rust off. If Lance would've been honest about Daniels progression the expectations wouldn't have been this high. That and keeping Grimes, Liepold needs to be held accountable. Too many to list why this season shouldn't have gone the way it did. Liepold flat out is getting out coached and the mistakes on the field are due to coaching failure. Please dig into next year and keep asking Liepold the tough questions even tho he is starting to have word salad like a politician. Thanks again Kevin and Mike.

Can we not throw a slant? I was at the game ... Jalon holds the ball way too long, then tries to scramble. Problem is... he's not Pat Mahomes. How can Cole Ballard not get a chance?

So, Kevin to your point about Third down calls, why did we not at least run it once to slow the rush and blitz. We did not do that. We had two tos and may have been a big gain catching them off guard. We only needed a FG.

On Sevion’s TD, credit to Bryce for getting downfield and “blocking” him into the end zone. So true about the playcalling. Skinner would have obviously caught the ball if Cole had been the QB. Definitely Grimes and Leipold’s fault.

We seldom ever go under center. Play action with QB under center with play action slows most defenses. You cannot be so predictable nowadays.

Going under center was one of the things that was talked about in the offseason about being a change with Grimes. TBS, almost no one is under center anymore so players have little to no experience with it. Having a new center also plays into that as well. It seemed painfully obvious that the team was slow to get up to speed without adding new wrinkles. Ultimately most of the games could have been won by simply executing basic plays when they were called without adding anything special or extra.
