Boy oh boy, where do I even begin. Paul... honey, pookie bear, my PG-13. I have loved you ever since I first laid my eyes on you. The way you handle that ball making any defender guarding you touch the floor. From your silky smooth jumpshots to those ground-rattling windmill dunks. I would do anything for you. I have watched you for 14 seasons and I'm still hoping that I can watch you for 99 more so that I would never have to see you retire. You grew up loving fishing with your dad, but the flame you had for basketball grew so much stronger, and you took it and used it, never giving up hope through the hard times that you went through. You're a great man, husband and even father, hell... I would even call you dad. I dread the day that I would have to watch you tie those Nike PG 6's for the last time. I would sacrifice my arm and leg if it only meant that it would put a smile on your face. I can still remember the day that you were in that scrimmage for team USA and chased down Harden for that block. I still remember so clearly how you landed, and every single time, I still break down into tears. My heart was broken into a million pieces seeing how you were being brought off the court, to this day, I still can't forgive James for that. Then that fateful day came when you returned and dropped 13 points on that Heat team. I rewatched all of your highlights from Indiana, that poster dunk on the Birdman himself, and that ice cold half court shot against the pistons. I still remember the times that you matched up with the Heat in the playoffs and single-handedly brought LeBron and his superteam to a 6 or 7 game series. You later left for Oklahoma and a tear left my eye but I couldn't help but be happy for you after getting 3rd in MVP voting against the likes of prime Giannis. Even in your latest season with the Clippers, I watched the game against the Hornets where you dropped that 41 as well as that clutch 3 in the playoffs. You completely stood on business! You have eternally changed the game and will be cemented as the smoothest to ever do it. And now that you're getting older, you are still the GOAT, my GOAT. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, Paul Clifton Anthony George

About the euro players playing "pro" at 14, just a few precisions: When young players play for big professional club they dont play with the pro A-team, every club competes in different age classes championships. If you're good like Sarr you gonna play with the upper age class and then at any point the pro A-team can come to pick u up like Rubio at 15, Luka and Wemby at 16 but its pretty rare: if you play impactful minutes with the pros at 18yo, on the last year before your draft eligibility that mean you're already a good NBA level prospect (like Risacher or Salaun this year). The essential difference with most US high schools is the quality of the structure, the schooling schedule, everything is organized to allow them to train like pro. That said recent US Programs like Montverde or OTE now also provide very good structure to develop young players, if it wasnt the case Sarr wouldnt have come to OTE.

Rubio was 15 when I played against him in a Tournament when he first hit the Euroleague after playing in ACB overseas. I was playing in at Valencia Basket and man Rubio was so smart on the floor at 16. I feel he didn’t translate to the league because he came in at the peak of scoring PGs. Because as a traditional PG he would’ve potentially been Jason Kidd, CP like I terms of play making. Playing for a really bad Minnesota team and Kurt Rambis just being a terrible coach really stunted him

Really interesting how Sarr’s response to how he envisioned his future was team first then individual. Goes to show how much being individually driven can only take you so far in terms of winning championships. Its not pointing out anything new, but PG’s response to that shows how the new generation’s mentality is changing. It definitely reminds me of soccer players who always talk about winning the Champions League or World Cup and never really talking about winning the Balon D’Or. Individual accolades will come after winning collectively and that’s something Im glad is changing in the NBA. I just hope my Wizards can turn things around 😅

As a Clippers fan, I've come to this conclusion There are too many supa-star players on the Clippers Westbrook or Harden has to go, and if P.G. goes too for more money, it's understandable It should be Kwahi and another Supa-star with great role players, hopefully young players like Bones who are hungry to win. Mavs, Celtics, Nuggets, Wolves, etc. have players that play their roles well... Re-watching the Mavs and Clippers series, where the "Stars" didn't take control of the game or take more shots, is just sad...
