I agree about him being underrated, but I do think he can do a better job at leading a team. Maybe he’s a lead by example type, but there must be a reason his peers aren’t throwing flowers at him no? We already know how the media is but if Trae was handling his business in the locker room you would hear more guys vouching for him and that has not been the case. Still one of my favorite players through. Like a Nash/curry lite hybrid.

Nobody cares about winning a championship. At the end of the day, a championship isn’t going to bring food to the table for his kids and future kids. A super max five year contract is. I hope he signs another max contract. I could care less if he wins silly little nba games which are meaningless in the grand scheme of things
@WyWid3 ай бұрын
I don’t understand your logic. If winning anything counts as one of your imaginary goals, it should be winning an Olympic gold medal. First of all you can be a bench warmer on a two way contract and still win an nba championship. To be an Olympic gold medalist, you need to be at minimum an all nba player with multiple all stars and at least a starter on an nba team. Amin this podcast, you can hear podcast p talk about how prideful it would be to play for your country and win gold. Your country takes priority over an “nba championship”

@hueyfreeman55093 ай бұрын
How? He's rated fine where he is
@nish83993 ай бұрын
@@hueyfreeman5509 Under vs overrated is purely subjective, the nature of the word means that your most underrated or overrated player will be 100% based on your past experiences of who other people think are good or not. There's no point in arguing against overrated or underrated, arguing doesn't really make sense since both people are correct as the ratings are what each individual sees.
@hueyfreeman55093 ай бұрын
@@nish8399 No there's some objectivity to it because it generally means given too much credit or not given enough credit. For instance Lonzo Ball was severely overrated with the hype surrounding him. Anthony Edwards also was overrated with the Jordan comparisons so early. I would even say Jayson Tatum is overrated considering how he makes 1st team all nba due to team success but performs poorly in the finals and now there's all these issues being raised about him getting benched on team usa.
