Hi everyone, it has been kindly pointed out to me that 8 vs 9 passives on a large cluster jewel DOES matter (whereas a 4 vs 5 medium does not). Thank you everyone for letting me know I actually did not realize that.

1 small tips, better to put all the vaal orb on the extra space under currency tab, else you might accidentally use it instead of scour

Quick information regarding the cold medium cluster jewel, maybe it helps someone^^: - don't... just don't craft them anymore, i stopped like a day and a half ago because the margins are just not worth the effort anymore.You'd need to buy alts for less than 1/3 to make it reasonably profitable (in comparison to running blighted maps or so). - regaling when you have astonishing affliction is actually not worth it either, atleast it was not the last days, just because cold conduction has a very low chance to hit: it's better to keep rolling until you hit CC and then augment / regal for AA // obviously it will take slightly longer until you hit the desired jewel, BUT it will be cheaper in the long run (not much though: +-10c) // this will change if you roll pretty slow, so you're ex per hour rate will drop, then it can be worth going for the faster way to get the desired stats - buying jewel bases 68-75 is not worth it: the odds for hitting CC increases from 1,355% to 1,368%, but it takes longer to buy bases, it will cost more and alot of the sellers just didnt response (atleast for me): it was better going for 68-83, way more convenient and faster while still excluding the lvl84 mods - you can actually see how a jewel is crafted: if it has 2x prefix + 1x suffix: likely alt+aug+regal spamming. If it has 4 mods: harvest or dropped^^ use that to your advantage when figuring out your own methods (bc, lets be real: these crafts are only going public once they are basically dead and/or the crafter has reached his goal)

lol ya that would be interesting. There's already noticeably more jewels on the market already with price dropping to the 1.2 ex range, which was expected.

Just curious but did you look at possibly fossil crafting these? Seems like you could have done it faster and cheaper by blocking some things. Either way good on you for getting your HH this league.

Hey, yes I did look at fossil crafting a bit and you might be right that it could have been done even faster and cheaper. I just really really hate fossil crafting so I didn't do that lol.

@@Dooministry I actually looked into it and based on the item level used you're already blocking a lot on the top end. You'd only be blocking a few on the low end and when you factor in time spent trading/farming fossils and resonators you're probably best off doing the alt+aug+regal method as you did. The only way I see fossil crafting being better is if you are crafting for personal use and going for 4 affix jewels to min max them.

@@KingKatura i installed a browser extension: "better trading", it has a little chaos orb with a smile as logo. it will allow you to have bookmarks in poe trade and will automatically show you the price in exalt AND chaos, calculated at current exchange prices. I wont guarantee that this extension is 100% safe and so on, just bc it's not mine, but it's in the google store, so... :D i found it really helpful

What's the new self-chill build you are running?

I simply converted my fire elemental hit raider in to a lightning elemental hit raider with self chill. If I were to make a brand new character with self chill in mind, a ranger class and elemental hit would probably not be my first options. But I did it because I was already playing elemental hit and wanted to see it so I did and it seemed to work OK.

im almost certain doing this with fridget fossils would be easier/cheaper... its 1c (2.5c in bulk) including resonator a pop, compaired to alteration prices this is not that bad and just by running the numbers in my head the chance to get lucky is decently higher then with alts.. but i bet u tried that so i guess reality is different.

No I actually did not try that. I hate buying fossils to fossil craft so you might be right, I just did not have the patience for that as I was making good cash anyway. So excellent point thanks!
