Hello, there is a way to make the budget wand very strong if you have the currency. It only work if you have an empty prefix after Awakener Orbing. You do multicraft + prefix cannot be changed + craft a random prefix to block. Then you do Aisling, block any dot damage and prey that you get something good. Then multicraft to finish the item. According to PoB, such a wand is really strong. Unveiling suffixes is better that's why blocking like this is really good.

@@SmashBrosFreak56 The meta definitely shifted a lot, which it always does in poe eventually. Now we have worked out the builds again it feels fine honestly. It just was a REALLY jarring shift, I almost quit myself when they nerfed everything this last time. :)

When trying to craft things with alterations that you can use augments to role as well for the mod that you want. If the mod you want is a prefix if you use an alt and only get a suffix you can use an aug to guarantee a prefix roll. This is a lot cheaper then just using alterations by a little over 3x. It may not seem like a big deal but it'll save you a lot of currency over time as it has with me. When you're crafting a lot you can run through hundreds if not thousands of alts so being able to decrease that amount with a couple augs is really nice. It also helps teach newer crafters which mods are prefixes and which ones are suffixes which is handy for crafting in general.

Note: at 5:24 you discuss the price, and the listed body armors are 6 link, while yours is 6 socket. What do you think the added cost of 6-linking that chestpiece would cost, and would it still be worth it?

Yeah, you're right. Usually the cost of 1500 fusings or a fated connections is the amount I should've subtracted from the value of the end result chest piece :)

Also that chest you crafted wasn't a 6 link so yours is technically worth less then those on poe trade. You would have to invest in hundreds of fusings to link it.

I tried to link it for Nicolai before recording but I didn't hit the 6L :< And I'm happy you feel that you're learning and that this is something more accessible to the average exile. These crafts are more expensive but they're not out of reach for the average player with a bit of knowledge

What I'd really like to know, is how to go about getting the crafts like "can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" and "suffixes cannot be changed." I can see on my bench where they come from, but a video showing how best to go about it would be good.

That sounds like a pretty simple video to make that would be helpful :) You can find that kinda info fairly easily on PoE Wiki but seeing it done in person can be really helpful for a lot of folks

As someone who plays an Icestorm build basically every league, I hate that there's an int-stacking wand build out there that is now infringing on all my gear. Essence crafting anything is so expensive at any point in the league :(((

Maybe the cost was a bit too much but you should've crafted prefix cannot be changed again after cleaning the suffix for the wand. At the point it is the 2 prefIxes and prefixes cannot be changed. You now Aisling it to guarantee hitting the prefix cannot be changed. If it adds a veiled prefix, just unveil and hope you get elemental penetration. If it adds a veiled suffix, craft physical dot multi to block mods and then unveil. The main mods you look for are crit chance or attack speed. Then at this point you can multimod what you didn't get. Thought that this is better as you get a 5 mod item instead of a 4 mod item

Absolutely - that'd be the perfect option on this wand since we were so lucky to have an open prefix. Nicolai was a bit short on cash and wanted to play it super safe and just go for the multimod, but I should've mentioned that that was an option

I don't why or how, but for some reason I was able to spawn 5 Harvest in a row! How? I did Shore t16 20% qual alch then Niko mission map Device and Boom harvest! Then when it doesn't proc I would change for like syndicate mission then back to niko and boom harvest!! I went to like 3 people and told them to put T16 Shore and Niko mission, ALL 3 procced harvest on the 1st time!!! brooo it's so weird! Give it a try!

Did you guys check in pob to confirm crit chance is more damage than attack speed on your wand? I always felt like attack speed is more valuable because crit chance can be capped and there are many ways to increase crit and reach cap, but attack speed has no cap and has no diminishing return.

I'm not 100% sure :S For these types of crafts where I'm doing it for a person, I usually don't check that sort of thing because of time constaints and rely on them to let me know what they want :) His idea was pretty smart - get the attack speed from the Harvest enchant, so it felt like a good balance, but I'm not sure if Nicolai confirmed in PoB first

Hi! Power Siphon Int Stacking There's a passive which is Wandslinger that transforms your Spell Damage into Physical Damage. Also there is the unique Helmet Crown of Eyes, that converts the spel damage to physcal as 150% of the value. So the 1% of the wand is equal 1.5% if you use the helmet, and since Int stacking you have at least 1.600 Intelligence, it's just a lot more of damage.

6:00 when you're talking about prices, you seem to have forgotten that the chest you have isn't linked. You're comparing it to linked ones. Maybe if you include the cost of linking it it'll be closer to 8ex.

There is a much better way to craft this and cheaper too xd. Get a 6l vaal regalia that is 79 below ilvl and then spam dense fossil for high es and one open suffix idealy 2 for the quality/ %attribute crafts. then guarantee slam the %int either t1 or t2. Also nice new format showing it in craft of exile

After you got an open prefix and scoured it, couldn't you add prefixes cannot be changed, then aisling slam it? The chance of getting something really good like some sort of attack speed, %lightning or spell damage, crit chance, multi or even double damage is super high that way and you'll still end with 3 affixes left for multimod.

Absolutely, yeah. I should've mentioned in the video that that was an option but I discussed it with Nicolai and we decided to just play it safe - he was also running super low on cash at that point, but if this was my wand, that's exactly what I'd do!

@@Lolcohol I see. I was messing around with iLvl 68 wands on craft of exile and its almost guaranteed you'll hit something valuable with aisling slam. But I guess it can get expensive pretty quick if you're unlucky, specially since these bases are higher level and there are some unwanted veiled affixes you can get at this level.

The only thing you ever learn from these videos is to just be lucky. I would probably be in the group to hit the check with 100 essences and still never see a T1 %Int. But I'll hit every other rare/rarer mod multiple times first.

@@Lolcohol I think a rough overview of mods that you would like to see with a small voiceover with combinations of mods that would be acceptable would be nice. I know many people myself included before I got into crafting usually think that there is a perfect combination of mods we HAVE to go for otherwise it's a garbage item when a lot of the times that's not the case. So for a lot of the more inexperienced players/crafters it'd be nice to know that they don't have the craft the exact item you crafted and that they should look out for other mods as well. This video specifically is one that doesn't really work for that as Int stackers tend to want hyper specific roles but when it's applicable it'd be nice to see a list of mods to look out for.

Is it not far easier and cheaper to buy a ilvl75-79 6l chest and int essence spam for 500+ Es then crusader orb slam for 1/2 chance at %int? Far more control over defence and easy to get open suffix for % attribute craft. And for wand, t4 Aisling with just the 2 prefixes and prefixes cannot be changed 100% takes the meta mod and then you have high chance of attack speed, crit/qual or ele pen unveil

Yeah I wondered about this. One side of me wants people to know exactly what they're going to get at the end of a 10-20 minute video and the other knows that some people want it to be a surprise. I have a few videos recorded already that I haven't given a spoiler alert for, so skip the first 30 seconds or so and in future I'll do a timer for a spoiler, then show it so it doesn't catch you off guard if you don't want to see it
