PoE 3.15 Toxic Rain League Start Guide - Leveling PoB and tips for 3.15 included!

Great build guide and I am going to be league starting TR as well. One important thing that I noticed you did not touch on is the changes to mana multipliers in 3.15. This can and likely be a challenge for most players to solve for, including newer players with TR on a 6 link likely requiring 40-50 mana to cast. Even if you do minus mana cost crafts on jewellery, replica conquerors efficiency and enduring mana flask to mitigate this, you still may not be at a comfortable place, especially late game with tougher high HP bosses and ones that move around a lot like Hunter. That said I think TR is still in a good spot relative to the nerfs, I am going to be running it with ballista totems for bosses and caustic arrow for clearing in hopes to helping mitigate some of the mana annoyances this league.

Would you recommend using a ballista TR + withering touch instead of wither totem for an additionnal dmg boost?

That works good too, and ballista will save you on mana issues too. If I run in to any damage/mana issues I would definitely consider that.

Will it still be viable to transition to an Elemental Hit raider somewhere along the line?

I think so. Other than the general overall support skill nerfs, there wasn't any changes in 3.15 that breaks the build. However the support gem nerfs were severe so make sure to keep expectations in check.

Man I think I have a problem. I'm trying to league start but I deal next to no damage with my skill, which means I am constantly spamming it, I run out of mana very very easily and everytime there is a boss fight I cant even scratch them while I die multiple times. I also am spamming my skill in the process and emptying my mana flasks. I have tried various vendor recipes including +physical damage but still cant deal damage with 3-4 links

Why we take "Way of the Predator" and Avatar of the Slaughter" instead of "Rapid Assault" and "Avatar of the Chase" ?

Both are good! Early on avatar of chase is actually probably better, you get a nice speed boost first few days without any investments. When you're high enough level to have additional frenzy charges though, then avatar of slaughter is better (especially since you can get onslaught elsewhere).

what about just farming a porcupine bow in act 8? Wouldnt that wipe out a lot of our dmg problems in early maps? ^^

Yup I think it would. Definitely a good option if you are ok with farming up act 8 a bit!

Why no one likes trickster for TR? I see deadeye or raider only for 3.15

The attack speed and movespeed for raider is better for scaling TR, along with the innate chance to dodge and free phasing of raider.

Yes thanks for that, both ascendancies are good. My guides have always been for PF so I figured to stick the POB the same. I will be running raider though for 3.15. Cheers!
