Lvld 2 characters up in the last 3 days doing this - on my 3rd today. Crazy damage - over 4k dps at lvl 24 and had over 40k at lvl 55 on my marauder yesterday...just deleting everything. Crazy considering no shield, weapon or gloves. I also love that the gear I am wearing at lvl 24 is the same I am wearing at lvl 64. Awesome build!

Do you run anything to mitigate the effects of the Chill on you due to Call of the Void, or is it a non-factor? With all the emphasis on being speedy it feels like getting randomly chilled would be annoying. EDIT: Purity of Elements, I see it now! Nice idea, I'll try it this evening when I level my new Occultist.

Several things to optimize here: 1) Ruthless support is pretty good for Smite as substitution for Ancestral Call - much better for elites and bosses, and annointment is usually enough to deal with swarms; 2) At higher levels you can skip Accuracy nodes by swapping Astramentis with Hinekora's Sight. It might be better for some classes and not others, depending on gear requirements. 3) Seven-League Steps can be replaced with Garukhan's Flight at 62, especially if you still wear Tabula Rasa (acts 9-10 start to punish you for lacking defenses, especially if you use your sentinels, which you should, they boost XP gain). You can also get Wildwrap at 52 to upgrade Tabula / Briskwrap, though this is less efficient, as getting properly colored Wildwrap 6L is moderately expensive. 4) For most classes, Replica Pure Talent gives a good boost in the early game. Standard Pure Talent is an option, too. Witch and Marauder might skip them, but the other classes get great benefits - especially Scion, Duelist and Ranger. 5) For those with deep budget, Forbidden Flame & Flesh pairs can be immensely powerful at early levels, depending on the ascendancy.

Consecrated Path is also a pretty fun skill to hollow palm/level with, it's like flicker strike and leap slam in one. My favourite thing about leveling with hollow palm is that after you get to the cluster socket and get an Astramentis, you can pretty much follow your planned build's skill tree and you are fine for most of the campaign. Maybe pick up some extra dex along the way, but you don't need to completely respec once you are ready to switch to your planned skill. It's just too OP

greate video, however, i find its kinda squicy during leveling, although im one shotting almost everything, its still kinda easy to get oneshot by enemies, and especially, when trying to do the lab those traps turning out to be super dangerous for me (never noticed before). And i think ice crash is also a good skill to use with hollow palm, tried smite, just don't want to buy gold oil for the anoitment and then smite feels really strange and clears much worse, ice crash dont have the problem, might be a good way to save a little bit money (i mean, yes its only 50c, but whispering hundereds of people before finally get one that response is really annoying xD)

Thanks for the guide its pretty great. Only trouble I had was I was already level 30 so had decided to buy some regrets and respec into this build to level. Played about 4 levels thinking that whatever the fuss is about this build, its not that great honestly. Didn't realise after I had socketed my One with Nothing cluster jewel I had forgotten to actually take the Hollow Palm node. Well, after that, I can see what this is all about. Defs 10/10 levelling build. Best levelling experience my rookie ass has done in 8 seasons.

Do not try this unless you have mageblood. You will get your face wrecked against bosses. Clear is good when you figure out how to sustain mana but boss fights is bad.

a mana flask until you pickup Clever Thief node, then mana isn't ever a problem again. I didn't use any flasks other than a life+mana+quicksilver thru all acts - only Kitava was hard...

It's a great build for damage but you really need unwavering stance without flat life on your gear, getting stunned through the acts is pretty painful.

Hi, thanks for sharing your build. I've hit a road block I was hoping you might be able to help with. I finished the storyline and am level 75 and now trying to finish the 3rd ascendency to be able to transition into my build. Problem is, the ascendency boss 1 shots me left right and center. I've tried everything I can think of, including changing all my gear to armour based gear. I'm running Dread Banner and Determination. I'm using both armour flasks (+1500 and +20%), but no matter what I try the boss still 1 shots me with any of his attacks. The brown stuff on the floor, the green stuff he shoots out, and God forbid if he jumps on me... it all kills me instantly. There just isn't enough defense for me to survive.... and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

why not use herald of ash instead of ice, this would still get the explosions w/o the need to use call of the void. ofc call of the void is still good, but I think a resist/dex ring at level 70ish would be better than it

This way of leveling is very good. I also really like poisonous concoction really much. It has an advantage of needing less leveling gear and having shield charge and plague bearer. They are soooo good. You are scaling a little bit of attack speed on the tree and that translates into your movement speed via shield charge. Also you can annoint graceful assault and it makes it even smoother. The only problem is that you need some nice ascendancy for it to feel nice. Pathfinder and occultist are amazing and assassin is ok. They have the easiest access to best part of the tree.

it's difficult to take it further, since you can't use a weapon, offhand, or gloves. losing 3 item slots really limits hollow palm to a leveling build.

So a leveling guide if you have currency? I actually want to play this build as my league starter, I'm level 30 Scion but Splitting Steel feels bad man. Rares? Unkillable. Red trash? Like a map boss. Actual act bosses, RIP 15 minute fights and 8 deaths later. Call of the Void is 15c, One with Nothing is 40c. I don't have 55c, how do I level this build without those items. Splitting Steel feels like garb. I have it linked with faster attacks and chance to bleed.

No. Main damage is Lightning with smite, you convert a part for cold with cold mastery and the fire comes from elemental mastery

You can only drop it from delirium bosses, so unless you farm delirium it doesn't matter if you get 100 chars to lvl 100

Dont need fire damage. You only need 2 high elemental damages. Smite converts 50% to lightning and the other 40% to cold comes from cold mastery like he shows in video :)

I leveled an Occulist this way. Go straight to the N-NW Large Jewel Socket (I used spark till Hollow Palm). 13 nodes, counting taking Hollow Palm Technique (don't forget that one!). Afterward, I cut across using the first west->east running line to get into Kobe's tree. Later, you can save a few nodes by respeccing and moving One With Nothing to match Kobe.

I'm levelling with lightnign arrow, but a similiar setup nontheless, thanks for suggesting call of the void. Ultimately, I think there shouldn't be a campaign levelling for 2nd character and further, that would encourage more people to create new characters. It really could be maps from start, or delve, or heist (if you like it), but going throut the campaign a second time, seems to be completely unnecessary.
