Have you tride it post patch notes? If I understand it correctly, the explosions dont hit the target at first, but they still come back and explode, right? So the single target is just worse or rly bad now?

Really great guide - that has caused some pricing changes. If I could suggest one thing - +3 max lightening fractured shields are very cheap. +2 max fractures are up to 20div, may make sense to make the switch in the notes of the guide as it takes approximately 300 chaos to spam +2 max all, so although annoying, much cheaper on the entire cost.

Fossil spamming +2 all to a fractured +3 lightning shield takes 1.7k chaos, and straight chaos spamming takes 400+ c. If the only goal is to get a +3 and +2 shield, i guess you should just buy one. However, I suggested this fractured base only because we're going to need it anyways for the endgame, and getting it without that all res fracture would be impossible to craft for later on.

@@notboringandsmall Why even mention fossil spamming, its obviously a bad idea when you can chaos spam - for 400 or so C (in 7 shields it hasn't taken me over 350 but maybe ive been lucky and craft of exile is wrong) Can you clarify how it is different for me? Once you isolate suffixes I am not sure how there would be a difference? I have made two +1 fire, fire % shields with this method for a bit more than half of a +2 base. Base is 50c, 300 or so c in rolls, 1.4div beast, reforge fire, aug fire. What is the difference in process unless you are gambling the +3 lightning regularly? Bulk buying resonators and fossils each 20 attempts costs almost a divine regardless to get the max light back. Additionally, if you are rolling for fire % then locking prefixes, you have to use cannot change prefix, which costs .6 more div per roll than suffix with beast. If your goal is T1-3 fire (may god have mercy on your soul) I think your argument is correct, but if you are OK with T4/5 it is much cheaper to roll using a +3 light base. I thought the goal of this guide was to reduce costs for folks by removing the mageblood (the shield you are referencing costs 20div base, on average 5div in rolling with harvest for T1, 40div in lock prefix, 1.2div in aug fire = almost 70div on average) In fact in most cases you can finish the shield entirely for less than the +2 base costs. Given the cost of this build already it just seemed to me, getting a better shield for less than the base for most folks might be something to consider.

@@rickperez4330 I mentioned fossil spamming since the way to craft the shield with a fracture +2 all res is to fossil spam for the +3 any max res (1 in 20), annul off that extra suffix, and reforge crit for spell crit. The build still struggles to cap crit for fireball, and 70% Inc spell crit is huge. This annul, then meta mod, then reforge crit for spell crit is not too expensive if you are only spending 20 fossil spam per try, but for 400 c average just to get the base ready, costs add up quite quickly. Ofc, we are talking about endgame crafting here. For a generic budget shield, just buy one with +2 and +3 for a divine or so. It shouldn't break anything about the build. I’ll guess I’ll add that in the notes when I get to it - just purchase shield with +2 all res, +3 any res (which can be harvest changed to lighting), and empty prefix for life if low on budget.

Nice. I'm playing the Kinetic Blast Deadeye version and enjoying it. Two questions.. why not Divergent Fireball? Isn't the alt quality good with Leadership's Price? 2nd, did you go with Divergent Volley over Awakened GMP for budget reasons or is Volley better? Thanks!

We need proj speed- the faster our fireballs fly back, the faster our damage will be. This is why we use normal fireball, and the volley support. We stack projectiles via snipers mark, so missing one projectile from gmp isn it that big of a deal.

According to the way that I interpret the change, no. But honestly, that line in the patch-notes is a bit confusing so might need to test after release to see. Regardless, don’t try league start this. This build is not league start friendly.

Hey, I already have a mageblood and was looking to try this build out. Gotta about 100 free div right now to buy stuff, but already have lots of the stuff like level 4 enlighten/empower etc.. I was just curious, my main mapping strat has been 16 winged scarabs and juiced t16 essence farming. Can this build Kill essences okay? MY main is cheap death aura build that is squishy as hell lol.. So I just ran with cast on death and was still able to farm 8-10 div/hour with it. But would like to try this out. Im just curios which build would be better for me to try and start... Should be doable without the forbidden flame I would think that would be the last thing you would need.

@@ArtemGolovashkin I would use this same build, same, gear etc, but swap to deadeye and change out your flasks. You can drop two of the 3 elemental resist flasks as you cap resist with pretty much just 1 flask slot with mageblood. Maybe run an extra jade flask and onslaught flask, and free up some suffix on your gear atm that you use for attackspeed. You can also drop the crit chance grand spectrum for the ele- damage one (for damage) or the endurance charge one (to be tankier). Edit: I thought you meant the deadeye mageblood version. Do not attempt deadeye without mageblood.

@@Leoridor sure, but might be a bit clunky, since the brittle ground is very small. With leadership’s price set up correctly, your crit shouldn’t be that big of an issue. Attack speed, on the other had, might be a bit more challenging to balance.

@@Leoridor Hoi! I am using brittle on ground. its totally fine and works. many other cyc coc with creeping frost are using it as well. but i wouldnt scale it too much, because mapping going to feel very clunky when you miss the crit chance from brittle.

The arcane sure is just to simulate arcane surge damage, we do not put it in. And the gems in the shield is supposed to be in the boots or gloves, and the curse + flame dash in the shield.

Did you consider Deadeye (+2 proj, etc) with Nature's Boon forbidden jewels..? Even without skills to spam for extra gale force, the tailwind is more speed than the PF, and Nature's Boon is enough to perma-sustain basic magic flasks like topaz/ruby/diamond, esp with the 3-point cluster within your timeless jewel. You get less effect of your flasks for an extra +2 proj and a little speed, but lose recovery I suppose. If you insist on staying PF, why not perma-sustain a Dying Sun instead of the magic ruby flask for the +3 proj from there, which sounds even better than deadeye since you get to keep your recovery via flasks? Just move the Rainbow suffix to the diamond until you can make up those resists elsewhere, and lose the flask's crit suffix temporarily. I guess the easy answer is "I dont need more dmg anyway" lol but still

A few reasons. Firstly, we get more projectiles out of stacking snipers mark curse effect than just the 2, not to mention the extra damage juiced up snipers mark will give us, Next, for the ruby flask, a suffix slot on our magic flask is too important a trade- off to give up, for 2 more projectiles when we already have 16. I know it doesn’t sounds like a big deal to ‘make up resists elsewhere’ but with the amount of things this build needs to balance, it’s hard. D= Finally, not capping crit with your attacks, for a coc build, is horrible. It feels bad, it plays bad, and for each time you don’t crit, you are missing 16 fire balls of damage, much more than however much dying sun can give you. Now for a mageblood version, when you do have an extra flask slot…. This becomes a possibility.
