Tips for "feel good while mapping because I am a noob". Quality on the trap gives you AOE. Aoe + aoe gem on link feels great. Herald of ash plus 2 circle of anguish is a LOT of dps.

Update 3: Transitioned to self chill, spent the entire day getting everything right from costs to chaos resistance. Now working pretty darn nice, loving zooming by mobs! Another couple of thoughts: - Sublime form gives more res efficiency in total on the small cluster jewel, and you get 10 all res for "free" (aka its pretty cheap imo) - The mana cost/resistance jewels in the self chill transition POB have 3 suffixes, not sure if i am getting something wrong here but i am pretty sure that doesnt work outside of abyss ones. - Heartstopper messed with me a lot while testing self chill effect because i just took 1 number for granted - now it is 30% on both phases at least. - Putting your stone golem in the CWDT link helps with it constantly being dead even in white maps - I am running out of sockets big time.

That's my bad on the PoB jewel. Socket pressure is real, that's why in my super high budget version from last league I switched to 1p voices. To be clear, that's not necessary AT ALL, it just made other things easier once I had a huge pile of currency from bossing.

Awakened added fire damage is cheap (35c), lv5 (1.5div) is an easy way to +1 lv to ET 👍🏼

I have looked at your self-chill transition pob, as I am following it as much as possible. you have brittle at 6% and scorched at 30%, but for pinnacle bosses, your numbers should be 2% brittle and 6% scorched, according to POB under calcs. 6% and 30% is only for regular enemies while mapping. if you take Flash Freeze then you will inflict 3% brittle against guardian bosses and higher against rares etc, so that's worth considering. I have put anomalous bonechill and unbound elements on my frostblink, as this inflicts a higher brittle than the traps, because it has a larger base hit dps.

Are you sure on the 2% brittle? I just did an Uber Shaper in my currently scuffed gear setup and I was consistently getting 3.5-4% brittle even with my vendor crafted sceptre.

@@fearlessdumb0 So, I downloaded your current char into POB and you are correct. Currently, you are inflicting 19% scorch, 5% brittle, 15% chill, and 18% shock against Guardian/Pinnacle bosses. the impossible escape jewel is letting you do this basically, allocating ash, frost and Storm, with its 30% increase of non-damaging ailments. I've anointed my amulet with this, to place better brittle etc.

I just started transitioning into the early maps section & making small upgrades/swapping gems around. I just colored & linked my boots for the haste, zelo with inspiration & divine blessing..I have all of the reservation efficiency passives & 2 jewels in with 5% reduction for mana cost. Both haste & zelo & the cost is still over 400 mana to cast. How are you using both haste & zelo? I can’t figure out how you’re casting those when your unreserved mana is 30…

Hey, thank you for your uodtaes, very appreciated! I'm currently level 90 and farming t16. I'm on crit version right now, so basic items like alternate sceptre +1 skill and and Opal +1 in the other hand; sunblast, kintsugi 5L and amulet +1 Fire skill. What's the next upgrade? 6l body armour with divergent inspiration and anomalous trap and mines? I feel my damage Is low in some circumastances, some bosses last very long. Thank you for you help! PS: i have ~ 5/6 divine to spend

Have you thought of using The Restless Ward body armour? It is quite cheap with double corrupts, also gives alot of MS and some regen .

For the POBs that were linked at the beginning of the series for the Elemental Mastery you took 3% chance for Hits to deal 300% of phys damage as extra. but in your recent profile you're taking the top exposure mod. Does the 3% chance phys damage mod work? In POB it says I would get a lot more dps by taking it over exposure

Both work. I switched because the Exposure of 18% combined with the Suppression always inflict exposure for cold/fire/lightning was a more consistent dps uptime than a 3% chance for 300% dmg. I think on average the damage is slightly higher for the 3%, but smoothing out a consistently higher hit average also meant I was inflicting more scorch/brittle on bosses. I think either is reasonable, just explaining my rationale to switch.

Early league I'll do invitation farming, then once I have enough dps I start doing Feared rotations or maybe Uber Shaper depending on the price of Sublime Visions.

@@akashaedge1379 that's a hard question to answer, its going to depend on your comfort with the fight. I've done A LOT of invitations and I am just running them rare at 60%+ quant. My gear level is pretty low at the moment though. I'll leave rippy mods on because I dont care about using a couple extra ports, I avoid mega defensive mods like % life as ES, or 2+ inc life rolls. Once I get a bit better gear I'll run anything and I'll start vaaling the invites hoping for 120% quant.

yes, almost always most profit to purchase materials. set up like 10 runs in a row then run them back to back. From league start I usually do expedition or harvest or whatever I need to get the 5div I need to start invitation farming. Then invitation farming until I have sufficient gear to run whatever, though my preferences are uber shaper and feared, then on to feared carry service.

my dps is pretty underwhelming. i can't seem to match your setup, because i can't afford the upgrades you recommend unfortunately. i transitioned to self-chill at level 80 or so, and maybe that was too early. i have 63% sunblast - would 72%+ really make a big difference? your self-chill transition pob has 9m dps per trap. my current pob has 740k per trap :(

Yes, I think realistically 90+ is when I would transition. When you do you'll lose a gem level unless you are committed to a more robust trigger sceptre craft (which is why I haven't transitioned yet, I will do this first). You'll notice a pretty significant difference in QoL and how the build feels between 63% and 70+%, but it won't improve your dps all that much. Mainly the dps increase there would come from a smaller trap lifetime window which reduces your risk of overthrow. Explosive Trap gets significant benefit from gem levels. Do you have at minimum the +1s on your weapons/amulet? In the transition PoB I am using a +2 gems chest too, which I paid 3div for this league, as well as a 6L setup. Are you running an alternating sceptre for brittle? How's your crit chance?

@@fearlessdumb0 crit chance 68%, alternating sceptre for brittle, no +1 on offhand, +1 on amulet, 5L kintsugi, only 90 mana so i can't run zealotry with blessing, running grace and hatred. dps now 1.2m, but still not very good. I die a lot too, which surprises me as you have youtube where you just sit and take damage. that doesn't work for me. i have heartstopper, 3k life, 1.2k es, and 37k evasion.

Thanks for the updates. i am honestly not understanding how your getting 16 million dps with this gear. mine is 'similar' and things can be slow. my tooltip dps is only 12k for reference

My tooltip is currently 49.3k in the gear in the video without any charges up. All I'm doing to configure PoB damage when importing is: (1) tick frenzy/power/end charges, (2) supressed spell dmg recently (3) brittle of 4%, scorch of 20%, (4) traps to "average explosion" and trap count 3 for the sunblast

The PoB has changed very little, and most of that was the mastery changes / import weirdness from PoB. As I learn new things I'll always go back and improve on them so others who might be interested can benefit too. I'm being pretty open about following my own guide here :)

Probably in the 6m pinnacle range? Will depend on a bunch of things, but you probably will be using a 5L kintsugi as a 6L almost requires a divergent inspiration which was 1.1div earlier today. A reasonably rolled sunblast (67%+ will be another 50-60c, and the rest of the gear is very cheap.
