I have played this build since week 1 this league. Started in blights and graduated to blight ravaged. All the while upgrading my gear as I go. I can highly recommend scaling levels and AOE. "The bravery of being out of range". Great job Larry!

I got an early Headhunter last league from Gwennen and went Shockwave Totems. It was by far the most powerful character I had ever made but it was pretty squishy and I would die often in some maps if I tried to move too fast ahead of the clear of the totems. Sadly I didn't know about the insane currency farm available doing Blight Ravaged maps until the league was almost over - as you are saying it would have been very good for this.

nice damage but a total glass cannon build, i'm lvl 100 but is pretty annoying dying with almost anything all the time and casting the whole lot of auras each time

yup... thats why i've said about 1500 times, dont do it , in the last 45000 years since this golden age video, where SWT was relatively unknown.. and F and F costed 5 div for 2... scan the channel.. the solution is there ;) hint "purifier!" gl!

honestly theres a lot of things that inflate the dmg like RF, skitterboats and Marks, in your showcases its very clear that your DIE with one shot if you play close enought to use that. also all PoBs use as base Forbiden Flame and Forbiden flash that cost more than 160 divines. if you dont use both you lose more than haf your DPS. The build is good but now so good as you sell it and to get closer that you need to sell your mom.

hi welcome to PoE Flesh and flame that league were 3-5 div combined.. i've warned about 55 times now not to play SWT this league and how to get around those flesh and flames... Stacker-type-characters are usually not league starters.. and min maxing them becomes expensive..This leahue, we managed to start with them and use them in content that creates the currency to scale them cheap at first.. followed by "proper scaling". the version i run now is 560 M dps without skitterbots.. But using SWT this league is ***NOT SMART*** you're commenting on a video from the stone age in PoE terms.. we use purifying flame totems now..with determination.. and obviously not cheap ^^ past 2.0 mirr invested and not done yet sadly... As for skitterbots. you **Could** use this for bosser.. for which u can get close.. they die before attacking you.

Hey, I just dicsover your channel when I search for a blight farmer. I wanted to do blight ravaged with totem because it's look like more easy. I'm playing a omni LA + HH actullay I can do blight ravaged but sometimes I can't see my screnn with all proj and artillery ballista. I have 35div in my stash and my HH. What POB do you recommend me to follow ? please

heya buddy!! with HH, even the first PoB will clear those maps with a smile on your face.. HH carries the physical based skill so hard the other gear can be as basic as the first PoB untill you gain currency from the ravaged's to go for the bigger PoB's.. let me know how it works out for you mate!

That's some good ravage friendly build there. I didn't tried totem build in years, might check it out, but after playing some tanky builds I have really hard time keeping the distance and not bumrushing to nearest mob packs... somehow mobs in Ravaged maps could slip past Freeze3+Stun3+Empowered3 clusters like it was nothing, no idea why?

Thanks mate appreciate it... there's 2 map mods that nullify the towers.. " monsters action speed cannot be lowered below base value " this nullifies the chill/freeze... and "monsters cannot be stunned... " nullifies stun towers...but sometimes neither of these are there... and the monsters still "mission impossible" past a multitude of towers... thats when you wanna swing "the hammer" on them... and this build does that... you're right though... don't rush past the totems or it get's dicey fast xD!. Thank you for the vid. I am wondering do you actually make profit with such an heavy invest? If I saw it right you play with 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 opal in the first map you showcased. Thats one div per map.

it's close to 1.3 Div per map yet we make between 9-11 div/hour depending on volume and "luck" i made a complete video guide about ravaged showcasing the solid numbers here mate, kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGjSdXl9r5h0jNE... we did a few 100 of ehm last league as juicey as possible! it's still as good this league, but with more and more people picking up on them, the prices of the bare maps are going up quite a bit.

@@IBr3ZEI yo... didn't start out with shockwave but a generic WoC over time build... horrible single target but good clear. also, i didnt clear the atlas untill later in the league.. my first focus was low lvl blights.. ( no atlas or build needed just tower power)

@@wilkstube this is what panicked our community yesterday as wel.. So today i tested our new totem build live in SSF and completed a run in 4:53 with all quests/labs done. You can check the vod there to see what u feel about it.. we are no longer using the TAUNT mastery for this test. and No shockwave totem.. it's an entirely new setup.. i hope to have the guide, including all PoB's ready in the next 2 days.

Can the bosser version actually freeze ? Because pob says it would need a single hit of more than 27M to freeze an uber boss and your totems can hit 23M at most, so you shouldn't be able to freeze or i'm wrong ?

good question. I'd have to dive deeper into this before answering. AFAIK, the freeze tag will be on the bosses, although it may not freeze their movement solid "classic freeze" you do get to benefit from the bonusses in terms of dmg vs frozen enemies. but again, ill check it out see what i can find to confirm this.

@@lytylisius nevermind, you can definitely freeze the boss, in fact pob was just saying that the monster shouldn't have more than 27m treshold for you to freeze him, and no monsters in path of exile have more than 27m treshold for ailment

@@emattera6391 thanks for that response.. yeah i was fairly certain that the freeze tag does get inflicted upon the enemy, although actionspeed cannot be lowered to below 60%, this does mean the bonus dmg from frozen tags with heatshiver (for instance)

not sure if you're serious xD but with heatshiver a tabby the astral projector and hrimsorrow combined with basic res/life gear, you can in fact clear the atlas... and that is under 1 div xD you will die A LOT but it's possible.

at this point in the league?? no clue.. markets change on a dime And this video isn't that "recent" i'd advise you to always do a financial checklist on any build you want to make , unless you're "swimming in currency anyway" before making a build... having said that, this isnt a meta build at all and it might be cheap to get going ... probably less that 10 div for first version.

Superr actually hahah, but thanks to one of my live viewers, we swapped that to lightning warp-reduced duration-swift affliction... and it's super smooth now xD nah mate the distance between the stash and the portals stems from a few leagues back when we did 6-link farming... misclicking and losing a portal was a big no no... so i created some range there, then got used to it.

Do you have a mageblood variant by any chance? Also confused by the fact at how cast speed increases the DPS of the totems when you're not dealing the damage yourself??

totems are a weird thing.. your cast speed is directly increasing their cast speed. havent made a MB version yet mate, but if i'd go MB i'd go for a vastly differenty build. suppress cap and all.. honestly though, it will feel lackluster VS the HH version.
