I farmed a Mageblood in 2 days just farming essences in white maps a few weeks ago (MB was around 140 div). Sole strat and nothing else. Bad decisions/build and I had hard time doing red maps. So I farmed white maps. Just a tip. The special essences I always harvest crafted into Horrors which were around 30c+ at the time and the others around 17c. Bug profit doing that. And there are some Defeaning essences which are 5c. I try to re-roll them into the mana reservation essence (forgot what they are called) or zeals or the crit multi one which are over 20c ea. Big profits aswell. If you get a ton of horrors or those high value essences you can sell at a premium using TFT (I know, I don't like it as well). But I've been able to easily and pretty much instantly sell in bulk all my essences.

One tip regarding when to corrupt. Shrieking essence mobs duplicate. In other words, if you encounter something with say, 3 shrieking essences, it’s likely not worth corrupting. Yes you could get 3 deafening essences instead, but you’re comparing 6 shrieking vs 3 deafenings + 4 remnants of corruption (I believe the chance to upgrade is 1/4). It’s not worth it.

Another case where it always makes sense to corrupt is when you find an essence that has 1 screaming and 1 shrieking (or more). In this case, the upgrade will net 2 deafenings and 2 shrieking compared to 2 screaming and 2 shrieking, because the screaming becomes your new shrieking duplicator. So it's not as simple. as "meds" or "4 essences". the 4 special essences aren't even the most expensive. Learn to identify when there is a good combo (scream + shriek).

I opted to run red altars with the t16 strands on top of the boss nodes and only allocated the node for the chance to add double progress since exarch invitations are over 2 div and you don't have to actually click the altars. Free passive income to add to the essence strat :)

Another great vidoe like always I might try to roll mine more after seeing you show the price paid and price given back and all. I was always afriad to go further or sell on trade so always used tft bulk selling and just upped the % to a higher value for the bulk and b/c it was faster. For extra optimilization, i would use 1 compass, mainly elevated sextant charged compass adding 2 essences with 50% chance of corruption, they are pricy, but they pay back really really well, I was able to consistently make 15-20 divs/h sometimes reaching 25. (inb4, statistically 50% chance of corruption and +2 essences per map is more worth it than more opportunities to corrupt an essence, since you're not corrupting most of the essences, someone made a video on that gathering data, and found out that they made more on average with the elevated compass.)

I opt to never take the remnant passives on the atlas tree and just use the essence sextant. You will drown in remnants since it's 50% chance so you only need the sextant for a fraction of the time, but you don't need to keep spending orbs of unmaking and get an extra essence along the way

I actually never take the essence sextant since 90% of the time you'd like to try to use them to upgrade the essence into the unique ones or deafenings, the sextant means you have less chances to do that and you only get 1 essence. I take 1 passive remnant chance and I've been oversustaining.

When the essence base type "changes" technically it is "upgraded" in the sense that on the essence tab itself you will move down to the next essence listed after the current essence that upgrades. In reality, these are often worse, but for the mechanics of working with remnants, it will ALWAYS upgrade your essences, just sometimes in a way that doesn't help you.

Not bad information. As a fellow essence enjoyer, I encourage you to remove the 2 points from the side of the bottom essence node. It only increases the chance of dropping items with an essence modifier already on them which 95% of the time are useless. And to add onto the T14+ version, if you are going to run the boss for invitations you might as well spec into destructive play and have maven witness the maps for additional bosses. This would require you to run different maps though. If you prefer to ping pong between 2 different maps, simply spec into blue/red altars for the Exarch/Eater invitation every 28 maps. You don't even have to interact with the altars if you don't want to!

It was what I recommended just more refined. Anything in a video should be taken as a plan and changed to what you personally are doing. For example if your farming tier 1 maps and essences you don’t need the top hate and boss map nodes, while person two watching this doing tier 16 maps would need that. That’s why I explain it the way I do. It is really upto you at the end of the day to decide which part of the strategy you want to incorporate.

Doing low level maps work really well as well with blighted maps, especially if you speed them up with oils. You will quickly be swimming in things of all kind and make money as well. I often ends up with essences, fossils, cards and oils during each run. making a lot of money even on lower maps that cost a few chaos each to buy. Also, I have no idea what that memory is :)

Trav… for anyone who wants easy currency and doesn’t want to do MF strategies, do Kiracs memories of survivors guild. Put beyond on map with as much pack size as possible,get blue and yellow juice. Ive had many maps with at least 8-10 fracturing shards. No bs. Fractured orb at the time of this message is about 36 div. And i cant stress enough about blue and yellow juice. Your welcome all who are poor. Also annuls, harb orbs and ancients all sell really well. You wont have to spend too much time on trade other than buying the memories

@@Profit1983 So i bought a bunch of fractured helmets with rarity of items as a fractured prefix, then I spammed greed essence on them until I hit rarity suffix and mabe some nice res or attributes and a open suffix, then bench crafted "rarity of items dropped by slain rare or unique monsters". That way, with the suffix and prefix rarity, its around 40% with another 45% from the bench craft. I also used essence of envy to do the same but aimed for getting life, rarity prefix, rarity suffix and open suffix for the craft. Some of the better helmets I sold at over 25d each

you're not corrupting every essence anyway, also not 100% of corruptions actually pay back (they can change nothing) that's why using elevated compass with +2 essences is worth it. Yes, you will lose on a few good essences not being able to corrupt them and (potentially) upgrade them, but you'll get more remnants, which sell for a lot in bulks aswell.

If you can get 12 maps favoured, grab the one atlas node that makes you unable to drop favoured maps and select all t1s and t2s other than glacier, that way all the maps you normally drop are glaciers 100% of the time

As usual, corrupt MEDS essence which I assume u knew. Besides that, corrupt ess with combinations of shreaking + screaming as hitting the outcome of all ess upgrade will give u shreaking+defeaning, which essentially doubles your defeaning from the atlas passive "monsters with shreaking are doubled" from atlas tree. Corrupting 2+ shrieking ess with no screaming is fine but imo not as valuable as the method previously mentioned cuz if all shreaking upgraded to defeaning but no shreaking to double it, you essential just gain only additional shriekings of each, instead of double of defeaning.

Either or , the one in the description is just a bit more min/maxed but you dont need a lot of the nodes either if your doing tier 1. So tailor the tree to what tier of map your running, for example you dont need the map drop for conq/shaper/elder/synth if your doing tier 1.

You can use gilded scarab(convert scarabs to reliq/abyss/divi) drops from first 3 possesed mobs (needSeance or atlas tree (some rare mobs are posessed)), map boss drops guardian map and boss map nodes. Easily can make 15div/h on shit build and 25-35+ on fast build. You can even add Delirium, orbs sell well for Divs.

2:13 I've always heard this, I tried essence farming for the first time this league and after hundreds of maps I'm confident enough to say that they do indeed scale with map tier. The higher the map tier the higher chance of higher tier essences and higher chance for a higher number of essences per monster. why are you taking the remnant of corruption nodes on essences? It's a proven fact that you lose potential currency like this by not being able to corrupt essences a lot more often, missing out on duplicating deafening essences or getting the special 4 corrupted ones...and there's nothing special about essence price now, they're always at this price, it's not INSANE profit...I usually appreciate your vids but this one is so clickbaity and, at times, plain wrong...

Beasts feel pretty bad with essences IMO. Yes they're both good, but too often your essence and beast combine, and I feel like I never see MEDS beasts.

These are tier 1 maps though. If you have good damage, even a beast-essence should die pretty quick. Also, unless it's a really juicy essence, or a valuable red beast, you could just skip it.

@@miramichi30 I know, I'm not worried about their mods. I was saying that the beasts seem to prevent MEDS and therefore tier 7 essences.
