Preach on, brother! Yeah, it was a stinger reading, and reading, and reading…..waiting for some sentence about a buff to slams specifically. I play only ruthless, and it feels 1000% worse. Quality on gems? Yeah right…… my only hope is that some visionary on their team buffed the holy hell out of a slam gem as a transfigured gem. Baked in bleed? Baked in proliferation, baked in multi strike, or fist of war…….*something*. You are right about buffing numbers……see Penance Brand? See how big of a number change that is? People are feverishly theory crafting builds around it……..why can’t we get that with……who cares……Vigilant strike; even. Ha.

Perforate,dual strike player here(will go with perforate in 3.23) and I can fully feel your pain.3.258 hours playtime. I have a few thoughts to share: -Either boneshatter is deleted from the game or melee gems are brought up to its level PERIOD. -Both slam and strike melee gems need to have less problems with accuracy and mana than bows,the current situation makes no sense. -Remove inherent att.sp. from just EXISTING. -Warcries can exert movement skills,why?Warcries don't offer a proportionate buff for the amount of effort you have to put to make them effective(sockets,one extra button to press) -Totems just fucking delete them,I want to lose -30% overall damage,I don't give a fuck just remove them even if you do nothing,my fingers hurt and I am tired anointing panopticon every.single.league.Cancer mechanic. -Dual wielding is a colossal disaster,buff cluster jewels and/or re locate them because currently there are 0 benefits for pure phys melee builds to choose dual wielding instead of two handed or shields. -Gladiator is dead -Bleed is dead(partly because gladiator is dead). -Pure phys melee and many other gems simply don't have many ways to scale their damage in contrast to more modern gems.In our case,you need to invest so much into impale(impale chance,max impales,watcher's eye) for what feels like too little. -Unless they straight up give tankiness for free to melee players to help the core issue that close=danger,ai becomes insanely aggressive if u go far=ai goes GOD mod on your ass so walking around playing with your little overtuned garbage spells and bow attacks is gonna be a test of survival. -rmting is out of control in this game,you might not feel it if you are a new player but the more powerful your character becomes,needing better and better gear to perfect their damage for less and less returns....Also please don't make me laught by saying "ssf exists,hc exists,ruthless exists".I am ok with someone living in their own imaginary world no problem but I do have a problem when the game is actually balanced around softcore trade which then affects every other game mod. GGG please make syndicate a storable thing like alva temples,modernise your trade site,takes lessons from tft,make trading(especialling bulk selling/buying) less painful,create an official mirror service trade site controlled by trusted staff or trusted players overseeing and controlling it tightly.Weaken tft and make it implode on itself,you could've done a lot more by now and most people including myself realyl think that you are part of this cancer.

Agreed with everything you said. Someone working at ggg have personal vendetta against melee skills or just dont give a fuck about it.

I've been criticizing the lack of significant balance changes for some leagues now, and did so as well this time around on both the forums and reddit. Yet everyone is shitting on me. 3.23 doesn't change anything, it will still be the same old deadeye tornado shot and lightning arrow meta. Those things alone represent 30% of the playerbase each league it's just sad. Then you have Pathfinder at 15%... Anyway, good to see other people sharing the same opinion. I just need to accept that people are stupid and ignorant, and that I should just forget about game balance, accept and move on.

but Reap got at 25% more damage...and Tornado shot and Lighting shot got some buffs...So why fix Melee when the best skills in the game need some more love.
