Intro video for a big farm I have set up (results to follow in a day or three!). Very similar to last video but moved to corrupted 8-mod maps, and some minor tweaks to the atlas tree. Still very low investment, and self sustaining maps easily.
Going to run 200 T16 8-mod corrupted maps with Back to Basics, targeting map drops, especially T17 maps. Utilizing Cartography scarabs (2x base Cartography Scarab, 1x Ascension, 1x Corruption, for a total of 400/200/200). Scarab costs were very low, I paid 5c per base Cartography scarab for large bulk, but they would be available cheaper at smaller quantities. Other scarabs were purchased at ~1c each in large bulk as well.
I have run a few maps with this strategy already to test out how my build handles it/how restrictive I have to be with map mod selection as the 8-mod maps are more punishing. I found I can comfortably run about half of the maps that drop, and I'm dropping enough maps that I can easily self-sustain at that rate.
The goal is to make at least 250 Div over the 200 maps, but we shall see where it ends up! Will be keeping track in wealthy exile for an overview as I go, and will note any remarkable drops. Will post a follow up video with results after completing the farm (bear with me though, as it may take a few days). This should set me up nicely for some large purchases, and allow me to roll a new character more focused on endgame!

Hi been doing your guide to the bone and so far its working well, 40+ maps in and around 13 t17 drops, just wanna ask if you have change your atlast tree? Im still using guardian maps and sirus nodes and yeah theyre not that profitable to say the least.

Something I forgot to mention in the video is that some T17s are much more valuable than others, so I recommend checking trade and target farming the most valuable specifically. I'm farming for Ziggurat specifically, now, as they bulk sell for a divine or more! You can see my latest in the comment above (repasted here as well for you: poeplanner.com/a/exJ) Guardian maps and Sirus Conqueror maps are good as well, I just wasn't seeing a significant amount of drops/value from them. How are your initial results going? I was trying a similar 8-mod ma farming strat and wasn't seeing anywhere near 1div per map

I had a really big drop a few maps ago, and I'm only about halfway so far. Excluding that big drop, I'm seeing just under 1 div per map on average right now. That is using wealthy exile's estimation too, which doesn't correct prices upwards for bulk sales, so thinking I'm a bit better off than that given that I'll have big bulk map quantity/scarabs and such at the end here. I did get a couple of manifested wealth allflames as well. Unsure if they're outliers at this amount of maps run or not, having all the nodes for increased allflame drops and such, but they're very valuable/could be skewing results a bit. Will dig into the results when I get through it though/compare them with others in their same "tier" of drop category for allflames. I'm seeing 1 T17 drop every ~2 maps on average right now, and am seeing ~6 maps drop each map run on average, so it looks like I'm skewed a little high on the T17/(all T16+T17 maps dropped) ratio right now as well. I'll correct for that too at final/using the total map drop pool to adjust.
