Unnatural instinct's best placement is on the Duelist/Ranger transition socket. It gives bow dot, ailment dmg, increased damage (bow and atk), small chance for phasing on kill and even some life leech. Marauder socket isn't even close imo, unless you want to move those points into cluster jewels that give better dmg

I went Iron Reflexes and Chaos Res Light of Meaning. It improved survivability a lot. (especially Max Hit)

yeah, and it doesn't hurt to have maxed out linked sockets on gear and weapons.

Bleed bow has always been a favourite build of mine and I was interested in playing it again, until I checked prices. Ralakesh 10.5 div, Shroud 2.5 div, Ancestral Vision 7.5 div, Ryslatha 1.5div. Forbidden jewels 7div a pop. Unnatural Instinct is 9 div. That's just the start, doesn't count the bow purchase/crafting, cluster jewels, etc. That's a lot of investment for a very fun but ultimately low end build.

The current iteration of the build is clearing juiced Ambush T17 maps, holds up fine for all the content in the game so far, granted it does cost a fair bit to get to that point but I believe theres alot of potential for this build to go even further

Love the build but I’m a little stuck for currency this league. What content / strategy were you farming before you purchased your Ryslatha’s coil / FF & FB gems? I’m struggling in T16’s for damage and unsure what upgrades to get to carry me to the endgame setup.

I just checked prices for the recommended uniques and jewels and the investment required is crazy is for such a low dps build.

i dont understand the rain of arrows set up. wouldnt the aggravation proc only affect the rain of arrows bleed stack and not the puncture/split arrow? enemies track each individual stack of bleed and the highest damage one is applied. aggravation proc'ed by RoA will only affect RoA hits? its essentially doing nothing

yo jaytx, do you think we would manage a much better dps if we go crit ? i have an insanely op magic find-tech idea that can only work with bow/caster chars but if i go bleed bow i'd like to have at least 20m dps but not sure if it's possible.

@@ryanforgo3500 I'll have a follow up video for where my Slayer is now, it's pushed beyond what I thought possible for Bleed Bow, I'm DoT capped but can go much higher in damage, no need for crit to achieve this

What strat did you use to farm the more expensive items? I rerolled to this, and Imm currently on pre-no ralakesh boots gear but the ancestral vision, grat vio jewels and are a bit outta budget for me rn

Sorry for the late reply, I ran ritual + beyond + harbinger to farm my initial currency, you can also do expedition too if you dont mind rerolling Tujen and crafting with Rog

How much pdps bow would be a good starting bow to start focusing on defenses? I see on trade a 600 pdps bow is pretty cheap and was thinking of rerolling to something other than frostblades slayer.

My current pds on my bow is only 600, that was enough for T16/17, get a citadel base and you should be golden

Is it possible to simulacrum this build with a good investment?

I tested a Simulacrum yesterday, I got to Wave 13/15 before things started getting dicey, you probably need more defensive layers to do Simulacrum comfortably but damage-wise the Bleed Pops are very strong for doing Simulacrum

I'm still gearing and don't have enough for Ralekesh, so I'm using Tempest Rising & Venopuncture. Would I still need Aggravated Bleed with this combo ?

No, Tempest Rising makes enemies have the same effect as Aggravated Bleeds, however if enemies have chance to avoid ailments theres a chance you can't chill them and then you won't do that bonus damage to them

Don't need to gain charges as you're counted as always at max charges

Yes, alot of the gear is cheap and getting cheaper now after 1 week into the league, if you haven't tried Bleed Bow before I'd recommend trying it now

Most of the cost comes down to the Jewels like Ancestral Vision, Timeless, Forbidden Flame/Flesh, they've dropped alot in price now but would estimate around 20-25 divs for most of the gear minus Ralakesh

No, you always count as having endurance charges with Ralakesh so you dont need to generate them anymore
