Mixing Blight and Sacred Grove is pretty synergetic because you can use the horticraft to upgrade clear oils for 30 yellow life essnce, which allows you to always triple the value from them even in the worst RNG where it just upgrades it by one tier. But it can also upgrade it to any other tier, meaning you can end up with azure or verdant oils easy skipping the upgrades.

Firstly , thanks, this was a great video and I definitely learned a thing or two. Secondly, one thing I'll suggest to newer players or people just getting into blight, DO NOT corrupt your maps unless you have a LOT of dps. Even then, the bosses will just run through to the pump if you brick the map and aren't able to kill them as they walk. I've currently got 5 mil dps and they will definitely just walk past if I don't slow them down with towers.

The one info I still need is how to not lag, lol! I had a top-notch machine back on the Blight League, and it lagged like crazy. My pc hasn't changed much since then, and it still drops my fps to 3 or 5 at the peak of the map.... thanks for the content. It is undoubtedly very helpful.

Just an FYI. A point could be saved near the lower exarch node cluster where "Wrath of the Cosmos" is located. Taking the pack size nodes on the right side will let you remove that scarab drop chance node on the left.

I've been a blight enjoyer for a while now, this big chest scarab is really frustrating when you get bad luck. I've had 41 maps now without getting a blight reward so 0 blight maps and oils. I have been tweaking the strategy a little bit and leaning more into the titanic scarabs but it doesn't spawn a bunch of uniques without blightheart. I don't really like the other blight scarabs either, I wish they would do some more with them.

i think ggg totally rework blight and they need to make oil be more useful in more places. For example being able to anoint every map 3 times could be much better. Removing oil extractor feels like a big nerf. Yes, gold oil is worth more now, but I can't remember the last time I saw a gold oil drop or even silver. On top of that, Blight costs a lot of atlas skill points. But like you said, it's more of a supportive mechanic. Not sure it's worth the time and cost. Maye if you invest in some of the more expensive scarab?

Expensive scarabs lead to much higher cost on average and could be HIT or MISS which is a gamble - still has some uses tho.

Is there anything we can do to get MORE blighted maps ourselves? I've been running the blooming scarab for 20 maps and I've only had 2 blight ravaged map drops. All of my blighted maps have been white or yellow tier and it feels bad when you've already completed the atlas lol... I'm doing maps with like 220% quantity and seeing no blighted map drops at all, or tier 3, tier 11, tier 7, it's so frustrating. Nobody talks about this at all.

My t16 map blight chest now drop low tier blighted maps. It used to be at least t13+, now I seen it drops map level way below that

I had this happening until I unspec'd the Fungal Horizon node. In my experience, it was causing way more maps to drop but they were randomly Tier low tier, so wasn't worth the points.

You of course open them, but don't pick up 95% of stuff. They always have the chance to drop synth and fractured items, got a T1 cold damage spine bow from blight that got me 20d first few days of the league. Worth about 30-40 today,.

Great video and tips in it as well! I used to love run Blight but now I can't pass any because of a Unique Goat Monster named Orglath or something.. He has a mod under his life bar that says Cannot be Slowed.. Since he's unique he instantly destroys my blight pump. I can't stop him because the freeze annoint doesn't do anything to him since he "Cannot be Slowed". How am I ever supposed to pass a Blight if I can't kill or stun this monster that always appears in my Blights? Also the Map does NOT have enemies cannot be stunned/slowed mod.

In such situation you could spawn some minions towers and level one of the freezes to level 4 so it can put him in circle of ice - then just take him down ASAP.

Feel like blight has good synergy with map farming, like t17s and 8 modded maps. You want to maximise map drops for blight anyway. Would this lead to blight maps dropping as 8 mods? Could be interesting.

Blight-ravaged maps for me felt awfully terrible this league. Maybe its just me but somehow the stages felt more difficult? The prices of these maps aren't cheap either, was as low as 10c-20c during Necropolis but now its doubled.

I do have a problem with the Blight Scarab of Blooming. When I use the Blight Scarab of Blooming in maps and salvage turrets, the maps I get are supposed to convert to Blighted Ravaged Maps. However, this isn't happening for me all the time. Instead, the maps somtimes remain as Blighted T14+ maps and somtimes they convert to Blight-Ravaged... Is this a known bug, or am I missing something? I've tried multiple maps and different approaches, but the outcome is always the same. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

It is a well known bug and not worked as intended. Probably will be fixed soon ( I bug reported it myself).

Usually you just build freeze tower to freeze them with 0.2 seconds chill anoint and then just deal with them yourself. it is a DPS check for the build tho so drop it if it is not working for you.

@@ronarray I do only ravaged blights. Setup is : Rare map 90+% / OILS: 1 clear , 1 sepia , 1 amber , 3 crimsons + 3 silvers. Feel like doesnt worth it. No drops :(

You can try offing the all sound in game - it helps a lot with FPS in high density areas.

Quantity doesn't increases the loot from blight chests in any way. it only increases the pump loot so having so much map effect with blight is wasteful unless you not only doing blight. please don't spread misinformation EDIT: omg your misinformation never ends. cartography scarab don't result in more blighted maps drops.

Just hover over any blighted map to see how it works, there is literally a message indicating quality and chests connection. There is no misinformation there.

@@ronarray blighted maps yes. not blight in maps . they don't work the same. that is a special mod for blighted maps only. Are you new to the game? these are mistakes i expect from a new player.

Those attacks are just funny, I'm playing POE for 10 years on a very high level and doing content for some time as well. You also need to relisten to the video - I never mentioned that quantity affects chests anywhere except Blighted maps (still affects loot explosion tho). There is no mistake.

100% blight encounter chance from tree. + encounter blight scarab = 5HEAD move right there.

Your analysis are flawed and based on time not being a factor. Teal are extremely eimportant to all blighted maps. Amber for first 1-2 days. For blight ravaged i would juice more. Just google for an optimal oiling. There are people who have spent time for this.

I literally recommend Teal in the video, the real issue is Teal cause too many lags if goes x3 and not really goes that higher on average then 1 TCC. Optimal Ravaged juice is SSSOBBTCC or TTC which is mentioned in the video too. Cheers!

How can I reduce the lag? When regular monsters appear it's completely fine, but when bosses start to spawn my fps drops to 5-10 and it often crashes my game and failing blight. Any tips?
