I'm not sure you want to pick up fungal horizons before you complete your atlas. Blightreach could convert a needed map into a blighted map and slow your progression. You'd either want to not take the notable at all or full clear the map before doing the blight encounter

Great guides, Im also thinking of going pconc of bouncing just because how insanely cheap it is to gear something that doesn't require a weapon early on in the league, buying alts to roll life flasks is much easier! Also cant wait for the excitement of seeing double anointed amulets drop, Ive mostly seen people sofar drool over the chances of like Whispers of doom+charisma etc but I think there are a lot of lets call them A-tier combinations that are gonna be much more common that still will be insane. Don't think any build on the right side of the tree would complain on disciple of unyielding+something semi-decent. Havent been this excited for a leaguestart in quite some time!

I have the same strategy in mind for the first few days, purely because they are adding back monsters drop loot for mechanics where they havnt been for a few leagues. Also, I am planning to do a bonkers unique boss/scarab strategy where I have a feeling we will get almost 40 scarabs per map, but it is going to require a very strong build probably 50-100 DIV invested.

I tried doing rogue exiles for scarabs while leveling up but got owned. I hope blight isn't too tough for my failed gladiator lol. I'm hoping to find some money for spell surpression/chaos res so i can progress into tier 11 maps :)

From my experience - Kirac nodes in the middle are enough by themselves. Unless you're pathing through bottom left right next to those already, no need to go out of your way

I am excited to try blight for the first time... actually playing a build that would do well for it(bleed SST) and the changes have me interested. for additional stuff on atlas tree I am planning on doing Alva(double corrupts and gem corrupts are easy profit), essences(passive income, just need to carry remnants of corruption), EoW altars... I to am tired of being domed by meteors, and ofc general map juice/rarer scarab variety node. Only downside to this plan is I can't get to treasure hunt wheel so no 100% Alva(just 80% or so) but can grab everything else for all the mechanics picked there(don't forget behind the notable on eldritch top wheels are eldritch pack size). probably not taking blightspawn until much later into league when I have gear.

POE guy has a brilliant setup for blight going exact same initial setup but heading to +20 points then doing both left and right for +15% tier up which is 14pts then other 6 points go straight into left side of blight nodes

I dont think giving up the scarabs is worth it at all, we tested it this league when it became available and the scarabs were too impactful to lose. We ended up using extra scarabs on everything and selling extra for insane money early.

Answering specifically for Blighted/Ravaged Maps. Chaos and fire ball blobs dropping on you can be quite crazy. Especially the fire one. So ruby flask is mandatory imo. I personally go CI if it's feasible for my build, even if it's a slight detour for my late game build. Besides this I usually don't do anything specific other than stay moving if my build isn't defensively strong overall.

@@spitz-mv6zb That should do the trick. Flasks are always up in Blighted Maps because of the number of monsters. Keep that in mind. Also you might want to look up TheGam3Report here on KZbin. He does minion builds for afk Blight. So his defences should be good enough. Or at least a place for you to get some inspiration. Good luck.

if you are going blue altar shouldnt you just take one of the gates the one top left under the blight node to save passives

I'm a newish player so correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't we supposed to giga boost our atlas completion with all the atlas tree points that we can in the first couple of days? Things like shrines and sulfite damage boost on top of every possible point spent on kirac missions and map acquisition. Do you think going for this early farm strat pays it off by having your progression delayed?

The sulphite stuff got changed. There are plenty of ways to progress the atlas. I just did an ssf test using this exact tree and got to 2 void stones in 12 hours and was able to progress fine. A lot of it , is experience and play time. Also this is just the way I am doing things. The kirac nodes carry hard. But yeah if your worried about progression cause you need the help from shrins and other things I would absolutely explore the options.

Probably all of them honestly. Theres changes to scarabs and limits in the next patch so I am waiting to see what the limit changes are and how things interact before I make an assessment

blightspawn doesn't say that it will replace all mobs with bosses for 1 lane, it just says that lane will only have bosses. huge difference because they certainly have values assigned to normal, magic, rare and unique monsters. so normal might be 1, magic is 4, rare is 10 and uniques could be say 50. if it spawns 500 points worth of stuff, say 200 normal, 25 magic, 10 rare and 2 bosses. instead it would be 500 points but only bosses can be picked, so you get 10 bosses. i don't know the point values and i don't know the ratios they would use. all i know is getting 500 bosses wouldn't make any sense lol. blight is super fun imo, hopefully my melee ignite doesn't flop around and slap like a wet noodle.

Yo Travic They very explicitly said that when you scry a map, It moves the cards from the map you are in, to a different map of your choice. So you want to spam run the map with the div cards you want, until you get the seer. And then put those cards on toxic sewers

You dont have to run the map with the div card you want. Because it works the other way around too. You run the map you want to run, then you swap with the set of cards you want. Swap implies both sets are changed. Otherwise they would of said overwrites or some other wording if you had to do it the way you described.

I am less worried about spamming for the div card off the bat. Better to go straight to the map you want to use to farm blighted maps and do that until you hit the seer.

theres zero chance blightspawn will replace EVERY mob. There's 100% going to be a hard limit on number of unique mobs spawned and it's probably lower than 10.
