@@ronarray totally get you but if the drop rate was like other awakening gems, the price would be close to them, max 1 div. the rng factor keeps that price so insanly high, alto i agree, a bit higher would be good :))

Bossing in this game is really bad. Most of the time bossing is used for showcases or montages, rarely its profitable. Not talking about carries, those are always net profit.

To be honest carry's is barely profitable too, takes too much to find people that even need a carry - you better off farming T17 instead.

They definitely switch around drop rates on bosses between leagues. Impossible escape used to be very rare with better ones being 100 div ballpark, same with the progenesis flask. Definitely wasn't 10% drop rate, more like 2%. That's cool, it means that a very incaccessible item one league might become pretty viable even on week one. Such as massive threads of hope that are basically half of your USirius kills today and used to be 100 div in affliction. Since the flask is pretty expensive on its own, you can take your very bad rolls and throw 2-3 divines on each to see what happens.

I love this series! Hope it comes back in some form next league. However just a nitpick is that you use "about" all the time. Like "I dropped about 3 awakened X gems". It's not about, it IS 3 :D But that's just me being picky. Great video-series over all!

using a uber maven skip build (such as ice trap or eye of winter) can let you run bosses in around 55-65 seconds per run also. Can bump that up to -8 div an hr!

I personally do ubers for the voicelines and epicness, or to test characters. -4 div/h for me its fine, almost close to making money back while having fun. If I get the jackpot its even better, I probably quit farming right there😂

In my opinion, when presenting high variability strategies, normalizing jackpot drops in the calculations should be a no brainer.

enlighten was a lucky drop but, on average you did not drop any of good regular awakened gems like GMP, spell echo or multistrike. and that's what makes maven quite good, but in the long run. with just 100 runs its still gamble, unless you hit any jackpot items.

@@ronarray hmmm 🤔 well there's already a decent amount of content on scarab farming, exiles, blight and 8 mod t16 map farm. So anything other than those! Maybe legion, expedition, ritual (lmao), harvest, and maybe "chaos and go" like lower investment to see if you can still make currency. Also thanks for the reply I really enjoy your videos man

@@ronarray then yeah I might craft a frenzy ring , I had a corrupted farrul ( with “you take 50% reduced damage from critical strikes , + I also crafted this mod to my shield so im like crit immune rn ) , I might look for farrul that both have reduced crit damage and + level to socketed gems something like that but first thing first I will craft a frenzy ring.
