I think I got hooked on the series when you did Essences. Currently doing completion with map, scarabs, maven witness and all the guardians/conqueror/cortex map drop chance passives. After that I'll return to harbringer strat

You should really revisit legion with its new scarab. It allows you to re-open mobs out of stasis for bonus loot. Using builds like vaal arc ignite let's you re-open all of the legion several times over. It's super rippy, but also very fun.

You mentioned your build which was a strong all rounder with a ton of investment. For people without as much currency to start with, picking the proper strat for your build is also important (e.g.: Don't go legion with a slow melee build). Poison builds are basically made for blight, explosions make expedition and harvest a breeze, etc. Your div/hour will be higher if you pick the strat that works for your build over the strat that has the theoretical highest div per hour. You can always do whatever you want with whatever build though, this is a game after all so fun is priority, but a bit of planning can help achieve your goals faster.

Yeah, tho this illustrates annoyances I have with some league mechanics and their build dependencies. Legion can be great fun, but if you don't have a build that can burst aoe FAST, you should just turn it off entirely. Players really need to do research on not only what build would suit their playstyle, but also what farming option would go best with it.

True, same with Expedition, its a good strat but those mobs hit extremely hard and can get very tanky with all those extra mods so you need a build that can either offscreen or facetank that, otherwise you are going to get wrecked. Bonus points if you have a build that deals mixed Elemental damage, makes it a lot easier to place explosives without those immune to x damage mods getting in the way.

Can confirm. I'm playing Poison SRS and expedition isn't going well at all. I have to run back and forth to pick a few mobs and kite them away because they destroy me. Maybe doing it on an 8 mod map isn't the best idea either, haha. I thought about Back to Basic, but I don't want to give up all the good stuff like niko, shrines, allflames, coffins, exarch invites/eldritch, etc.

I farmed harbinger for about a week and got ~10 fracturing orbs total. This was from around 2-3 hours per night. Used 2 base harbi scarabs, 1 regency, and 1 duplicate. I dont recommend using the single shard type one

single shard one is good because you get heaps more ancient, chaos and annuls. Most of the money comes from those anyway. And when you hit the fraturing orb you usually get around 3-4 and you can expect to hit that pretty often like a 50-100map type of rarity.

I ran legion and farmed a HH (when it was still 30+ div) and then used that to farm a mageblood. I think I might try switching to expedition or barrels for farming Omni and nimis

It doesn't give you much info tbh, you can't predict the best interaction for a leagues first week. Personally I think expedition is the best because rog can get you meta gear early.

Nice video ! I've been farming Ritual Alva and Heist (Heist lover forever) most of the time. I definitely got nice things in ritual but it's not consistent, and you need to look after good fractured or synthesis equipment. Alva's Locus of corruption sells for almost 2 div, every 3 map you get a temple (given you allocated all points). Heist is just my fun time, and when I get low on chaos orbs, heist is my way to replenish them. I even dropped a headhunter during a unique contract, which is nice. Also blueprints rewards can be valuable (Tailoring Orband the other Orb dor example). Jun's also nice, Veiled Orbs sell for about 15 div when it drops.

Strong boxes mix ever so well with the league mechanic, I have been having great fun with that. If you run them on vaal temples too it is very profitable.

I really liked blight at the beginning of league, but I dropped it for strongboxes after the oil prices nosedived. Surprised you didn't test out strongboxes in your series, it has very low investment and good div card, currency, and 8 mod map sustains.

IMO Strongboxes should have been added to the Essence farm. Their nodes are never far apart, and is usually a good starting strat for a league. I suppose it might change if you only go in to a map to pop the essences...

There was one I was trying out before I quit the league, using compartment scarabs and other ambush scarabs paired with manifested wealth allflames. It was insane, I would to see you try it out Empy :)

I may have gotten lucky on the drop rates, but I got 3 veiled orbs in two hours last night running betrayal with a single intelligence scarab. Just rush the mission and leave. You can get to catarina in 30 minutes if you don't mess around, and she's really easy to kill if you have good phys mitigation.

Einhar Craicic chimeral farming for me this league for the first time. About 500div worth of just running through T3 strands while barely paying attention / killing any mobs in most of the maps. I have no calculations or spreadsheets but Im guessing I made something like 20-22div/h even tho I paid big for huge scarab and map bulk.

I did a betrayal + beast strat. Go in strand, check for craicic chimeral or other good beast (split beast, spider crab...) and do betrayal + kill boss (for influenced maps + intelligence on completion). I did 160 maps in 8hours. Got 9 veiled orb + 3 helmets, 14 CC (double with the scarab so 28) and some T17, other beasts, influenced maps... It was around 170 divs in 8 hours, pretty good. Horrible to run, too many things to manage, you have to skip 95% of mobs to be efficient. Don't do it...

Numbers I not real. Time to sell all gains is not counted. The most profit comes from the harvest, since vivid lifeforce is instantly sold. Other 2 are not instant, but quite fast.

Hello empy, i've been farming ultimatum with 2x bribing scarabs, 1x catalasing, 1x inscription, and most relevant ultimatum passives (except for the one that gives 3 additional rounds at the cost of not being able to pick modifiers) and its a disgusting money printer, and you can afk them with a specialized build, in my case its cast when stunned chieftain, profits are massive and its super chill because you can legit stand still and never die while clearing the ultimatum

what is printing you the money, running inscriptions? and can you run every mod? I had to avoid few combos on my sab, like flame IV or the crit with cold conversion etc

@@dffhdhdhdhd4181 If i were to sell the inscribed, it would still be good money but running them is optimal, the only mod i cannot do is reduced recovery rate (when doing ulti in maps i always avoid ruin cuz i like to afk), when i run inscribed i also try to avoid stone circles with stalking ruin because its too annoying

How bout trying last leagues strat again? Allflames of the abyss force multiple stygian spires into maps + 4 scarabs of the wisps for 4k wisps. Or maybe add the omen allflames where they already have some wisp juice.

Strongboxes have been a big hit for me - lots of duped raw divs from the boxes themselves, a bunch of apos and a few 7 years, and only gets better the faster your character is (caster mastery to open boxes is a godsend too, don't even need to stop for a second while clearing) I do Crimson Temple mostly but any map that has straight lines/is linear or has really good card drops can work

@@desolation6926 I was crit-based Archmage Ice Nova Hiero when I did that, MF gear and the quant wheel on the tree will help you get more stuff faster though, you should probably be able to do it with any clearing build, can pretty much ignore the map boss if you want

It’s funny because I really enjoyed ultimatum… I just hated the rewards, even with the scarabs. It’s relatively simple and fast and my build is immune to like 99.999% of what they can do, so it’s easy mechanically and I don’t mind doing it. But there’s literally only one catalyst that is worth anything at all, and you have to vendor spam the ultimatums to fish for a Divine Orb one to be able to sell those, so it’s like two additional RNG layers on the loot. Like I would routinely get 15 inscribed from a map and vendor them all because they’re all worthless and then get 3 more worthless ultimatums, ie, I did a map and got literally nothing out of it. And blight will forever suck unless you’re in a build with ludicrous ranged clear because they made the decision to disable turrets when they’re off your screen. I’ve lost way too many blight missions because they spawned the nodes in a ridiculous way and I can’t keep the turrets running, and my build didn’t have the clear to prevent them from reaching the center without them. Expedition I honestly have no idea what makes those so rippy but I’ve never felt squishy before I did those but dear god were those hard. I play meaty tanky builds and I died way too many times in Expedition for me to want to do them again. It was hitting me harder than T17 was lol. Harbinger feels just barely better than Ritual to me. It’s simpler and I don’t need to know as much about the game to make money, but having to deal with the slow spawn rate definitely equally offsets that. It’s still RNG. I did like 30 maps and made like 6 div from it, it was easily the worst financial strat for me. I don’t count the unsellable-unless-thousands crap. Harvest is amazing once you realize how the bosses actually work. Kite them into an open area and sit *just* outside their melee range, not offscreen, and they will always phase to their tree form if you have them at 66% life. After you know that they’re easy. I haven’t tried abyss or breach or legion, yet, no comment there.

I also did Essence, which was fun, but I didn’t like that I had to do like well over 100 maps to get enough bulk to sell at a reasonable price. Hilariously enough, you didn’t do my most effective farming strat: t17 farming with the map-bosses-spawn-at-shrines scarab + maven up the stakes + bosses-drop-unique-maps scarab and just do the conq rotation with it. That one, even for someone terrible like me, is well over 20 div/hr and you don’t have to do like 50 maps to start making money. They sell in bulk fairly often, even as low as 3-5 maps, which saves me time in trades. They’re not quite as liquid as harvest juice but they’re way better than anything else I’ve tried. It’s like 30c for map + scarabs per map with a nearly guaranteed 0.7 div t17 reward per map on average, so you’re like 50c profit per map before you consider any other loot, and you get a 0.8 div maven’s writ every other 4 map rotation on average. Each map might take 90 seconds because you’re just chisel alch & go so they’re not hard at all. I bought the input maps in bulk for 3 div per ten sets of conq maps. I’ve made enough with this Strat to fund an Armour stacker build, with about a mirror a week lol.
