It was a really fun project, even though it was the longest one yet, it was also the most profitable. Cool to have such a different alternative to mapping in the game. Big thanks to Evan, helping me sell stuff during the project! The regal math is a bit off because the regals I have are the 97%, but the difference is less than an exalt, which is ~0.25% of the final net profit. Random numbers and stuff: - ~1,4 million Rogue Markers used to reveal and run 144 grand heists (could do it for ~20% less if you only used Giana, I used half Giana and half Whakano) - Biggest find was a 29 ex 3% regal->ex trinket (followed by a 11 ex gem) - Took 54 hours to run them and sell everything (+few extra hours from Evan) ~7 ex per hour average, should be more on new ones since these were legacy = longer layouts - 1 post lockdown crash, 1 death (bad coding ofc) 1 missed wing upon opening a new GH after a trade ~36 chaos lost in total Thanks for watching!

Back when I started playing (prophecy 2.3) this was the average price of ex per league, iirc the price went full retard around incursion league where it first hit over 100c per ex. This banwave looks really healthy for the economy on trade SC, though I still prefer my SSF "superiority" :P

Really nice project and very well edited, thanks! I think Heists seem to be much more effective for those playing in trade league because you can turn the raw currency into other useful items. That being said, still really strong for SSF just because all of the usable scarabs, maps, etc. Definitely a neat mechanic, I'm just scared to run the juiced 83's because my characters aren't really strong enough to guarantee not dying, especially with a crash.

The good old days. I made pretty much this exact helm for my low life CoC character at the time, same mods just on a hubris base. I know harvest was ridiculously strong and bricked the game in GGG's eyes but creating items like this, knowing you had a path to creating an item with the EXACT mods you wanted for your build and going through each step of the process, one mod at a time, was super hype for me and a ton of fun. With harvest, you always felt like you had options. Items could still brick, but there were far more ways to save items and keep working on them than there is now currently. I liked that aspect of it. Nothing feels worse than crafting an item, putting in a shit ton of time and money into it, getting it close and then ending up with a half-way decent craft with 1 or 2 shit mods, or even flat out bricking the item, losing all that investment and having to start over. There's still multiple means of deterministically crafting items that you want, but it's a bit more convoluted than it could be in my eyes. Crafting is one of the best aspects of PoE, but I still think it can be improved. Harvest may have swung the pendulum too far in one direction, but the multiple nerfs that have occurred since I think have swung it a little too far backwards.

24:45 903 regals are 97% of regals droped, as the 3 % were converted to ex. So u divide 903/97 getting the number of 1% of total regals dropped and then multiply it by 3 to get amunt of ex converted which equals 27.92 not 27.09. small diff but now the math is correct :)

Call me crazy but isn't the backwards math or w/e on the regal to exalt drops actually nearly 28 (rounded up from roughly 27.9)? As for how I got here, X is the total regals dropped before conversion, 0,97 is the decimal form of the percentage amount of regals not converted, 903 is total regals after conversion. X * 0.97 = 903 So to figure out X you simply divide both sides with 0.97, leaving X = 903/0.97 X = 930.93 (rounded up), or as I mentioned above, 930.93 - 903 = 27.93

@@Empyriangaming I see what you're saying, but leaving out that .93 exalt is the same as just cutting out 3.33% of the total conversions of regals. I get that with simpler math you can more easily come to the conclusion of 27, but 28 is just closer to the actual numbers you achieved, in the grand scheme it might be small but within the subgroup of the regal conversions, 3.33% is sizeable enough to not leave out. I just figure it'd be a shame to give out the wrong number for no good reason for people that are interested, but I don't have the last say in these things. At least nobody told me my math was wrong so I'm satisfied enough with that x)

I just hate splitting hairs on regals because I left out 100 chaos of portal scrolls that I vendored from whetsones and armorer scraps, about a hundred chaos in random 1c cards, and about a 100 chaos in random leftover incubators. All of these are visible in the video yet everybody focuses on the regal math. I literally pinned the correction of the math to the top comment before I even published the video. Your math is correct and you have done an excellent job pointing it out thank you :D

Re-respawning mobs in heists don't give any XP, just the ones that initially appear after triggering the lockdown.

Ex trinkets are way better than that on the current tilesets if there are lots of currency chests. However the result here is underwhelming for sure.

Gotta be some warped mindset to say 7ex per h is underwhelming. The only better currency per h atm is delirium mapping (for which you need a pretty good character) and fracturing the 17 currency blueprints (with cheap* fossils bought before patch).

It's a simple rebind of the mousewheel up and down ticks to left click. You are completely free to use this as long as you are actually scrolling your mousewheel yourself and not automating it in some way.

Well a couple things to note here if you want the same returns as him, 1) need to farm the blueprints like he did, not buy them, as they are quite expensive 2) have 40ex to invest in the markers to run this many blue prints 3) invest in the 3% regal to exalts, which is very very expensive. Without taking these steps, do not expect the same return as empy did....you won’t even come close

You always need cash to invest in a big project. He showed very clearly that the exalts resulting from his trinket were a small portion of his profits. While you're farming to get your investment money, you will also be farming blueprints, so it should be more or less a wash. The lesson is the same as always: if you want to profit, just play the game. Even at a conservative estimate, this project produced 6ex/hour, which is a good rate for average players to aspire to. That makes it a competitive alternative to mapping if you're looking for something else to do this league.

And the profit is decent, but not against what is deep delvers make, especially now selling fractured fossils at 200c+ and with exalts being 60c, I am making a lot more than 6ex an hour not investing nearly as much as you need to with blueprints, also no bugs or crashing when deep delving 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@Rawlingm This project isn't supposed to prove that you should do heists if what you want to do is make the most currency per hour. It was an investigation into how profitable heist is. It turns out it's 5-7 ex/hour. If that's an appealing amount of currency to you, and heist is an appealing mechanic, then this is useful information. Not everybody wants to map. Not everybody wants to heist. Not everybody wants to deep delve. Thank goodness there are options.
