Hi Dave and Camera Lady 💙💕 hope you’re doing well. I watched this video the 1st time this morning at around 06:45 on my telly in the living room 🕷️🕷️And I thought it was amazing! Videos like these have to be watched more than just once. 😊 I was riveted… watching you pick through the egg sac. So glad you made the decision to pull it. It surely would’ve perished if left in with Mum because of the amount of bad eggs. Fingers crossed 🤞 for the wee ones now. They’ve got every chance of making it now though! Exciting times ahead in The Beastie Room 💙💕🕷️🕷️LOVE IT 😊 Thanks for sharing another great video. Take care and stay safe 💙💕🕷️😘xxx PS Did you happen to see Exotic Lairs video he posted yesterday about one of his T’s? He had been doing a feeding video a few days back. Everything was going well, his Tarantula’s were very good in taking whatever he had for them to eat. Until he came to one spider’s enclosure when the Tarantula lunged towards his tweezers… in her eagerness to get to the roach and went flying. The next thing was she fell to the floor…the video stopped. Yesterday’s video was a very sad one to watch. It was a carryon video to show what happened to his spider. She burst her abdomen when she landed 😢 He ran and got cornstarch and promptly applied it to the wound also he got superglue and put that onto it too. He’s got her in a container with dampened kitchen towel now… it’s not looking too great for her 😢 So sad 😞

Hey Dave & Camera Lady! Great video as usual! One of my favourite species of tarantulas, and probably spiders (maybe even inverts as a whole). Their colouring is very stunning, in my opinion, very few spiders even come close in the wow factor department. Of course, that`s my personal opinion (i`m looking at you, keyboard warriors). Alright, so it wasn`t greatest sac in history but it`s still something! I`m happy that you got the vast majority of the bad egg pieces off of the babies, poor little guys. I wonder why some eggs went bad, that`s very interesting to me, so many things that we don`t yet know about their lives and breeding, still lots that is a mystery to us. Now Dave, before i sign off, i wanted to tell you about something that happened yesterday (Tuesday) after dinner, it involves a little Beastie. So my step mom is the biggest clean freak ever. I swear, half the time she`s vacuuming dog hair, she even vacuums the freaking table after dinner which i find obnoxious. But anyway, she was vacuuming near the dog food bowls after dinner and there was apparently a spider on the chip box we`re saving for trick or treaters. I Was like: Hang on, i`ll get a container. I`ve picked up a thing or two from Dave by now. The moment i get up from my seat, i hear the vacuum go on, then switch off. She had sucked up the lil Beastie :(. I was like: that really wasn`t necessary. And for some reason, the entire family started laughing at me. Really annoying. I tell my brother after: Remember the golden rules: be calm, be gentle and love your spiders. My brother is like: those words mean absolutely nothing to me. Spiders are dangerous and they chase you and bite you when you did not do anything. I`m like: wrong, spiders can barely see you to begin with, so they can`t chase you. They only bite as a last resort and you really have to piss them off for them to bite you. Then he`s like: well i read an article of someone putting their shoes on in Australia and was bitten by a spider. I`m like: Ok first of all, if you live in Australia, check your shoes. Second of all: The spider was in danger of being squished so it`s gonna protect itself. I don`t know WHY Dave, but my family hates reptiles & Beasties alike. Like, i could have easily grabbed a container and let the spider outside. Spiders don`t get big around here, and they`re not dangerous. I felt bad for the little Beasty. I found myself walking out of the kitchen a few minutes later, cursing under my breath. You know? It would be nice to live in a family who actually like animals and don`t see them as savage Beasts and think they all serve no use, gets annoying after a while. On top of that, they`re always grumpy and ungrateful, gets old after a while, Especially my step mom and dad, always grumbling about something, always complaining and grumpy. I`m not gonna be like them when i become a parent in the very far future. All this to say: A Beasty was lost last night, RIP House Spider. Much love from Ontario, Canada. I hope you two and the Beasties are well, see you tomorrow (since it`s Wednesday when i`m writing this), do reply Dave! Love reading your replies! Looking forward to tomorrow`s video!

Very interested on how these little one's will make progress! Maybe the ground enclosure got a little too moist for a arboreal egg sac, i reckon that when in their natural habitat they lay their eggs a little higher up in the tree's away from especially ground humidity. (just thinking out loud) Keep it going, love your video's! Cheers from Holland.

Well, not too shabby. I'm glad the whole sack wasn't ruined. I know the answer to the puzzle could be any number of individual variables, or any number of combinations of variables as the culprit. I imagine it's very frustrating when these things happen, and maybe just as puzzling when you have a bumper-crop egg sack, where you have 200+ and they're all alive and kicking. Hope for the best on the upcoming egg sacks! Thanks Dave!

Dave I watched many of your videos and enjoyed everyone one of them. Like you said be calm, be gentle and love your spiders. Every tarantula is beautiful and have a different personality. I wish over in the United States would have a invertebrate expo instead of having invertebrates in a reptile expo. The one species that you might be interested in and it's a smaller tarantula is the Gabon blue dwarf baboon. I want to thank you and the camera lady for putting out videos because it shows no matter where you live in the world people still love the hobby and show off the different species of tarantulas they have. Know I'm up to 15 to 20 different species and love them. I'm still trying to learn the scientific names of each species that are out their. So far my favorite are the baboon species because they're very visually seen and also not defensive when you give them enough substrate to burrow down to make their tunnels. So far I've only got one male tarantula in my collection. It's going to be sad when it passes on because it's was one of my first old worlds that I bought.

Interesting that the mum let go of the sac about as soon as you started pulling back the bark, kind of like when they calm down shortly after a healthy sac pull. Do sacs that turn out 'bad' tend to be easier to remove like that? Hope the babies survive, they'd be lovely to see 🤞

Not always each is an individual and behaves differently 👍

Hi, Dave. thank you for another wonderful and interesting video. 50/50 is a success anyway. But the question remained, what could negatively affect the cocoon. I hope you will find an answer to it and share it with us. I wish you success in breeding spiders. And of course I'm waiting for new videos from you. Health to you and your spiders! :)

I would love to see a nursery pot once the eggs-with-legs have their molt and become true slings. I haven’t seen that yet and it seems it would be fascinating.

Good morning from Australia Dave, just me wanting to ask another question... Last year you made up a tank for a fishing spider , i think that is what it was called where you had a pond in the tank ? How did that one go as I haven't come across a video on that spider since you housed it ? Would love to see how it is doing ... Thanks Dave, have a lovely day xx
