There is mad potential in this channel man. The work rate and consistency is a sadting foreal😞
@MrChelseafc20108 жыл бұрын
It's fucking pathetic! Why do they bother if they're not going to do it properly. There's only so long they can hold onto 'fans', whilst being on some joke ting! And they better not come with the excuse 'we've got other things to do'...then don't bother, if you wont do it properly. 'Straight No Chaser' have better work rate, but they can't get the BIG names in yet but once they do...fuck NFTR...on some lazy joke tip!

Being from Canada, when those videos were posted online it was a huge deal for me. Before, it was mostly just pirate radio rips that I could get my hands on. I did have a flashback through all these tho. Thought of my Run the Roads records, the Ddark and crew's On my Block and then Lake Days. If it wasn't for Channel U, don't know much I would have gotten to hear. I remember seeing the Ps and Qs and had to order that record. Some great work on this channel, always happy when something comes up. Don't have much time to keep up with stuff these days. Cheers

Just wondering, why is it considered 'black music' I feel as though grime etc was just aggy kids from council estates that were just hyped and bare energy loool
@sbaron89588 жыл бұрын
Because the British brought BAME (Black and Minority Ethnics) to England after robbing their countries in order to further exploit those of colour by using them for cheap labour. When you come to England with no money in your pocket, you get put in a council flat. Hence why council flats are predominantly ethnic. Grime was created by the blacks in our communities... it's not white. White people did not even regard grime as a form of music until recently. But we can bet our last dollar that once there is a market for grime, the whites will come along to eat the cake!
