POET REACTS to BTS THE TRUTH UNTOLD Lyrics

This song is based on an old Italian story about an ugly man who locked himself in his castle to barricade himself from the world. One day, he sees a women who snuck into his garden picking his flowers. He was initially angry, but as days went by and he kept seeing her, he slowly and one-sidedly falls in love with her. He can't approach her because of his deformity. He eventually realizes that she's been picking the flowers to sell because she is poor. He wants to help her. But afraid that she may run away if she sees his face. So he figures the only way to help her is to create a special flower that can only bloom in this special garden so that she can sell for a fortune. One day he realizes she hasn't been coming to the garden. He then figures out that she died of starvation. Kind of like Beauty and the Beast.

on doolset there's no "hung" part but "I chained myself to this sandcastle" and it makes much more sense that way, I think. that's why I strongly suggest checking doolset alongside the lyrics videos. because I really like your interpretations but you can't really do it justice 100% if you base it on botched translations 90% of these colour--coded videos have☺
