Try a good one such as the snow rated Michelin Crossclimate SUV. Outstanding in all conditions, snow, wet, dry. Had them on my GLK.

I believe those are all weather tires so I would assume they will be way better than the all seasons. But this is a comparison between stock tires that almost every car comes with. It will be nice for a company to send all weather tires to compare with winters

when you were braking, did the steering wheel vibrate or shake? I am not sure if that's the expected behaviour when ABS is engaged or it indicates some other problems

U know I did the same test on my C300 last year. I know longer use all season tires anymore. At first I had a hard time finding winter tires for the rear. My front tires are 225 and my rear are 245. It just makes sense to have winter tires.

@@POGAuto yes 225 front and 245 rear. That how I purchased it. Maybe because it’s AMG. They can with 18’ tires and I put 19’ on it then went back to 18’ because 19’ changed the way it handled.

@@Garen15 I purchased my car new and that’s how it came. Maybe the fact that it’s AMG has something to do with it, I really don’t know. Once I was gonna put 225 winter tires front and rear and the Mercedes dealership said it would be a mistake. It would change the way the car handled.

Naturally the difference is shocking! "All season tyres" is made by companies who do not understand how winter conditions are. There is nothing that is "all season tyres", just bollocks.

"all season" tyres are rubbish. The rubber mixture for winter is way different than for the summer.

All seasons and winter tires are obsolete for most people now. All Weather tires tested better than half the winter tires in snow and ice by Consumer Reports and can be left on all year. Some people buy winter tires that are actually worse. Do not mix up All Weather tires with All Season tires. Totally different. Never again panic to get your tires changed due to an early snowfall. Far cheaper since no ugly rims, storage or changing twice a year. Nokian WR G4 or Toyo Celsius.They qualify as a winter tire. All Seasons are obsolete now. Why would you put a tire on that's terrible in the snow so only really 3 seasons? All Weathers are rated to last 100K km and there is no noise like many winter tires. Once OEMs put all weathers on new cars and people find out they are fantastic in the snow and ice most people won't bother with the hassle and huge cost of winter tires. You are exactly right. All weather tyres carry the 3 peak mountain snowflake and are fantastic all year. The North American Market has been taken advantage of for year's with so called all season tyre's when they are nothing much more than summers. All seasons in the European market mean exactly that (all weather in N America). Top tyre's in 2020, Goodyear vector 4 season gen 3 and Michelin crossclimate 2. Do your own research.

@@mjg123mg I did do some research 🧐 This is in reference to the three peaks tires.Traction tires varies considerably in winter and non-winter disciplines, and none of the 3PMSF marked all-season tires tested have been able to match the capability of a true winter tire in snow or on ice.
