I really appreciate how you explained the placement of each song. There's always a story with music. And I know what it's like trying to resurrect and remaster old stuff that has a nostalgia of its own. I think the Boss is perfect for the opening. It does feel like entering a party. And Patacake is a very nice closing one. Dragonfly doesn't sound like a mess -- just normal Pogo. And I think it goes perfectly well with the Picard remix, chord progression-wise. Just wanted to say I've been a massive fan of your work for so long now, Nick. Your music has such a warm, fuzzy, nostalgic feeling to it that's hard to describe, and impossible to find elsewhere. Patacake is the epitome of what makes your music great -- insanely rich textures, masterfully cut together, followed by addictive drum patterns and just the right amount of funky basslines. They call it plunderphonics but I genuinely believe your stuff is in a genre of its own, mate.
@LunarShimmer2 жыл бұрын
Same. I've listened to other artists just _trying_ to replicate this sound and how it hits me, and nothing really compares. How best can I express to the world that gays are just an abomination? Referencing the Orlando nightclub shooting, Bertke said: I don’t want to really get into this, but when there was the Orlando shooting and the guy was shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ or something, I was like [fist pump].
