I'm a conservative, I 100% support both public and competing private Healthcare! Yes we will see the movement of some public professionals but it will create a huge number of high quality career jobs, it in theory should force down Healthcare costs in every field. It provides options you wouldn't otherwise have. I grew up in ontario now in Western Canada where the crown/public businesses compete directly with private companies and its been great! Between insurance and cellphone carriers I have a combo of both but mostly crown. The crown services create a lower base line for the big private companies forcing their pricing down and their services up. Where in ontario you get what they say you get.
