As someone else said...I was researching the Point Lookout DLC and this popped up...so I watched. Made the hair on my arms stand up when you were discussing Maggie... At least it isn't the most haunted lighthouse in the world...that is said to be a very disturbing and evil place...good video 👍

Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! We appreciate it! There is more to this lighthouse and area than meets the eye. What is considered the most haunted lighthouse in the world?

I was the Director of Tourism for St. Mary’s County, MD for 10 years. I had many experiences at the lighthouse and the grounds. I experienced so many EVPs with a film crew from the discovery channel. There is a lady in white that roams the beach alcove area.

This is so cool. Love hearing and learning about Point Lookout. That EVP is cool and creepy too. Lot of Civil War soldiers died there.

We stayed here in around 2005 or so for a few days around July 4. We were unaware of the history and paranormal activity. We believe the campground is haunted. We witnessed a ghost campfire with several people around it at 2 or 3 am. The area we were camped in we had to ourselves which was weird with it being the week of the fourth. Also we were sound asleep prior to seeing the campfire and were awakened by a female voice saying hello. At 5 am I looked in the direction of the campfire and saw that no one was there. So I walked over, there was no sign or hint of a campfire. We decided to leave early as my wife was uncomfortable staying. When we got home we researched the campground and found that there are rumors of paranormal activity. I was skeptical about this kind of thing prior to our visit.

Wow! Thanks so much for watching our episode and for leaving this amazing experience! That's rather incredible and unique as I cannot recall someone seeing a phantom campfire and bystanders! If you'd be willing to share your story on camera, please reach out to rick@unexplainedcases.com as our effort is preserving history through documenting the strange, paranormal and unexplained.

Okay look, did a ghost hunt there with some people like 7 years ago … Ann Davis - is there , as well some type of a little girl, my wife pregnant at the time was standing in the hallway while I was in the childrens room , I took a picture and could see an absolute clear outline of a little girl hanging upside down through the doorway …. Showed my mom and wife and they both brushed it off , than wound up somehow getting deleted without me doing so … 😑 I wanna go back
@UnexplainedCases20 күн бұрын
Wow, that sounds like an amazing capture! How unfortunate it was deleted but wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened without user intervention. We'd love to actually investigate the place but it seems they are moving away from allowing that.

This is a really good video. Let me encourage everyone to visit the state park at Point Lookout, Md. While down that way, please visit us at Confederate Memorial Park, Inc., in Scotland, Md. You have to pass our park on the way to the state park. Confederate Memorial Park, Inc., is a privately owned, privately operated park on 7 acres of land. We are right next door to the federally owned Confederate Cemetery. We have a historic cemetery on our property and there's that federally owned cemetary next door. Together, they have 3 mass graves with a sad story. Come visit us. Entry to our park is free. We are open 365 days a year from dawn to dusk. Hope to see you all !!
