Indian railways specifications type point machine. This point machine is used to divert the tracks. It has a dc series spilt field motor ,which is operated by 110 volt DC power supply.. This machine can move in both clockwise and anti clockwise direction.
Operating current is 5. 4 amphere.
The motor rotates at 1700 rpm.

Siemens point machine ke bare me batayiye

The mechanism of siemens type point machine is same as irs type point machine. In siemens type point machine there are only 4 rod. Throw rod, locking rod and 2 detection rods,. There is common locking rods for both normal and reverse side.. but now these days almost all siemens types point machine is replaced by irs type point machine
