I love Michael Hauge so much. He's like the Gandalf or Obi Wan Kenobi of storytelling. What a wonderful teacher and human being.

Seriously I admire this man so much, he is so wise. Everything he says about writing is so useful and his explanations are very clear. I love all of his videos.

I was listening to this with all the respect and reverence that this gentleman deserves, captivated by his gentle wisdom, when suddenly that last line - _in fact the last word_ - made me spit out my coffee! What an unexpected moment!

I like this guy. He makes a lot of good points and he breaks down a story very well...

I always got confused with this in films, because I could never spot it. But now I understand it better.

For a second I thought you were interviewing Michael Haneke.

Hello, when are you guys planning to release this full interview with mr. Hauge? I'm looking forward to it!

We are just as excited about this full interview as you are. We have the first 5 video segments with Michael posted here kzbin.info/aero/PLez8jOvskc-PlY-9UindrrN9B-KcM0rEu We'll have the next segment up next week. Beyond that we still have a lot from this interview to share. All together this interview is somewhere between 1 to 2 hours. And once it's completed, we also have Michael using his structure to break down "A Few Good Men" which will probably be somewhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour.

I can’t help but wonder if the Judeo- Christian Job narrative has something to do with the second part of the narrative. 🤔

Cookie cutter bullshit! That's why all scripts are the goddam same.

Yes, it is cookie cutter. And the chances of you getting scripts optioned by Hollywood are slim to none if you don't want to write cookie cutter. Hollywood is much more about making money than it is about making art.
