Seth, that you can marry photography and upland while hunting is spectacular! I do both, but in my upper 70s, I’ve found that my shotguns have gained weight, and the Nikon’s could be used to anchor the boat. These days, it’s one or the other, not both together. Well done!

I'm an adult onset hunter too. I never did as a child. Then when I got out of the service at 25 I wanted a practical use for guns and started hunting. Now at 41 I'm getting my first bird dog and expanding into that.

Congrats Matt on Final Rise. We met a few years back on the Provo. You were teaching your wife how to Fly Fish. I used to be a Chucker nut back in the day, loved getting my ass kicked by those things. GSP's, English Setters, English Pointers, I had them all. Now days I am a Lab guy. Enjoy life, and Good Vibes Only.

I enjoyed this. Best days of my life have been holding a 12ga walking in big open spaces looking for wild birds w/my bird dogs.

Well done. Seth & I have the same FR vest system though I found it fascinating that Seth is able to attach such a large camera bag to the vest and carry it with ease. That's quite the camera & lens combo to be packing around the chukar hills. Good stuff.

I’ve been shooting long enough now that the new gear is lighter than it used to be, but it’s still a big commitment of labor to get the shots I want in the field. Just no other way around it.

Awesome short film. The cinematography truly captures the grandeur of the one of my favorite stomping grounds. Thank you for sharing and give those dogs treat or two they earned them.

Loved this! Especially that you’ve now given me the notion to bring my gear. What was the lens you shot with and the size of the Lowepro bag that you attached to the vest?

Beautiful cinematography, great mini film and interview. What was the bag that Seth has attached to his vest to carry the camera? I would love to do something similar and this looks like a great set up.
