Liming, Night before Panorama Semifinals - Pan Preparations

Steel Band practice on the night before the Steelband Panorama Semi-finals in the Queen's Park Savannah Port of Spain, Trinidad. Several of the medium and large steel bands gather at the Savannah and practice the song that they will be playing in the Panorama Semi-finals. We went to hear these steel pan bands practice and see the activity on the area called the Drag.

@@pointboy12 your charismatic voice and your original style of video is part of your brand. It’s what help attract viewers to your channel. The exploratory and explanatory style of your movies matches your voice. I would say use that to dig into more about Trinidad and Tobago places and living. Us foreigners love to see sweet T&T.

I appreciate your comments. The characters were an attempt to change how the information was presented, particularly as the events had been shown by me in the past. I sought therefore to cover the events in a different way. I appreciate you sharing your view.

Hey Point Boy...You already had a discover Trini voice over that was distinctive...then those cartoon characters took your voiceover from a grade A to Fail ... Fire your "cultural" advisor...Sorry..Stay true to your voice. If you want to appeal to foreigners... Create a different appeal channel with the same content...DUH!!!

The introduction of the characters was not an attempt to appeal to foreigners. Rather it was an attempt to make the videos different. I have done Carnival related videos over the past few years and so I wanted to change the style to make them different from the past videos so that it does not seem like the same thing from the past. I appreciate your comments as it is important to me to understand what viewers think.
