Oh my goodness!! I watched this when it aired and taped it! Did not see them sing Neutron!!😯 I know Jump & Excited were in the top 20 songs for this VH1 presentation, but just trying to think of when they would have sung this ? I remember this being a tough struggle with June and... Ruth & Anita carrying the show itself.... These amazing ladies never really got their due, but that's ok. When God gives you the over abundance talent of singing - as with the Pointers.... It speaks for itself. Not many can smoothly ease in and out of just about every genre of music. Thank you for posting this!!!

Ruth Pointer and the Pointer Sisters can take an R&B song like Neutron Dance and insert there Gospel Upbringing foundation and take this song to church, demonstrated greatly by Ruth as this song climaxes ...

what wows me is how in this performance and several others they sing over the tape. It doesn't notice really and it blends exactly. It sounds like its fully live because they match it so closely.

@@jeframp3805 I think it was only Anita that really sing live, June did only lip sync and Ruth did sing little live and little lip sync.

@@PS-Archive. @je framp All 4 of the Pointer Sisters could sing and shared lead. June sang lead on "Jump", ""He' So Shy,' "Hapiness, "dare Me" among others. Anita sang lead on "I'm So Excited" and Bonnie had a solo career. No group ever could match the Pointer Sisters.
