Get this - Graeme with jacket and tie!!! Seeing the air date May 21, 1988 brings back the memory of hearing "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" for the first time a few weeks later on the radio in a gift shop in Bermuda while on my honeymoon. Told my wife "Listen... a new song from the Moody Blues!" Didn't hear any intro to the song, just knew by the sound it was the Moodies. Saw them live that summer in Springfield, Massachusetts. Finest band ever!

@@rmoore1686 I went on to see the Moodies about twenty five times over the years, including one show with first row dead center seats and the next to last public show ever by the band out in Las Vegas. Still see Justin's and John's solo shows whenever they are nearby. Had the privilege and pleasure to meet John at his show in Hartford CT in March 2020.

@@rmoore1686 Yes, he struck me as being a real gentleman. There were perhaps a dozen of us in the photo op/meet and greet session. John was most courteous and patient with us all. Felt like he enjoyed meeting us as much as we enjoyed meeting him. Will try to post a pic to my youtube channel. As you can see my youtube channel is primarily dedicated to my dog "Deacon". BTW, Deacon's AKC registered name is "Gypsy of a Strange and Distant Time". Sound familiar?

It's a shame this was karaoke and not live footage. I saw the Other Side of Life tour, and have found very little footage online of it or any footage between 1986 - 1990 when Patrick was still in the band doing a superb job on the keys. I saw them also in 1990 for the great hits tour just before he left, and the band again without him for their final tour a few years back, but their 80s music was always my favorite. As a synth player myself, I'd love to see some clear live footage of those tours or than featuring their 60s or 70s songs (though great too).
