Yeah mate felt like we dropped a wee bollock out there in Zagreb. i do feel the quick Hibs turnaround took away our sharpness and that rutted pitch. I actually think with the state of the teams below us that 9 points will enough. I think I will be proven correct on the 9 points thing, but ok we can't afford to think like that in case the Swiss Jam a Toblerone in the machine and Trip us up in January. Europe has been great for us, but I am glad to have a break until mid January now and just focus on smashing the domestic scene, then get 2 new wingers in and smash Berne and a bit of Swiss pay-back for FC Basel and Neuchatel Xamax. Despite their good form I can't see Rangers turning us over. HH

Unfortunately any new signings wouldn't be eligible to play against YB or AV. CL squad is set until after league stage.

@myoung7654 Well that might be a good thing for squad cohesion. I do see the first signs of a bit of winter fatigue so we will need a fresh boost in January hopefully for our CL knock our game against a beatable opponent.

Felt like points dropped but 1 loss 7 in cl is really impressive. 40 years watching Celtic away in Europe .it’s generally the same nervy , uncertain anxious performances where there isn’t a lot of football played. . We generally struggle when we aren’t encouraged to play our attacking expansive game .But if we can win at home and pick up a point away I will put up with the turgid away performances although feel we could have got more from Tuesday.

Engels doesn't show well on the stats but this was his best game for us. He found lots of space and was in good positions a few times.

More than half of the Zagreb line up put the who ? In who is who. Tactically, everything was about stifling us , I would argue they are more accomplished at that aspect than anything we face domestically. That said , we never asked enough questions of them . Possibly a subconscious effect ,exerted by the coming Cup Final ?One thing is for sure , if AJ recovers? We should have enough to beat Rangers. HH 🍀🍀

Refreshing critique. Frustrating that we played like crap yet so many fans sing praises about the fact that we got 1 point away against a team with less regulars than man city had against us in the summer. Do you think Idah should have started? My most controversial opinion about this game is that Ralston did his part and if others did theirs noone wouldve said a word about him. Even his yellow was on GT losing the ball. HH

Sorry that's utter nonsense about Kyogo! No one ran into open space more than he did but guess what? .. he never got a decent ball from his teammates the whole game especially Kuhn who could have put him clean through on two or three occasions. Idah is a totally different player who doesn't move nearly as much as the wee man and doesn't press the keeper. Like others I suspect Kyogo might have got in front of that defender near the end for the winner but we'll never really know that of course. Hatate was truly dreadful, slow, lazy and seemingly uninterested looking. and the worst player on the park, imv.

Honestly I don't think so, I think if Zagreb had their best starting 11 they would have played more confident and more attacking which plays into Celtic alot more, I just thought that the defence was very very good from Zagreb but on another day Celtic could have won
