How did you find the intersection points (1,5)&(-1,-1)I mean from where did you get the second point?

You have two roots when you used the quadratic forum, +1 and -1. Each of these gets substituted back into y=3x+2 to get the corresponding y-coordinates

You mean solved for x, and the answers happened to be -1 and 5? If so, substitute those x-values into any of the two equations to find the corresponding y's. If you'd like, post your two equations here so that I can verify for you
