The "francisation" of H. Poirot's English by A. Christie is astute and humorous. Her use of French in his mouth, however, denotes a limited mastery of the language. The often inept pronunciation of French by Arthur Lane is tickling (the ç !)... Listening to this audio book remains a pleasure.
